While I would not want a pet turtle, if I had one, he would absolutely have to be named Gamera. No question .

Enjoyed the peanut brittle gag too, and also Bernadette again.

Howard: Raj was snooping in Emily's nightstand.
Bernadette: Aw, I'll miss her.

I laughed out loud at Bernadette doing Howard's taxes and pointing out that he has an awful lot of receipts from the Lego Store.

I also liked the title card tribute to Mr. Nimoy at the very end.

Would have been better if the LEGO R2-D2 was somewhere in the background.

Obviously it was impossible for this episode that was filmed before Nimoy's death, but on some future episode they have to have the characters reacting to this passing, right?

Ironic that this ep included a Shatner joke.

I would love to see a callback to the X-Mas episode where Penny got him Nimoy's autograph. Maybe he tries cloning him?

I'd really like to see Emily become as big a character as Amy and Bernadette. So much potential there.

Yeah it is sort of odd the way they've used her character thus far. She really hasn't been in very many episodes at all and the times that she's shown up she doesn't really do a whole lot. It almost seems like the writers are hesitant to fully write her in. Maybe she doesn't have a full contract at this point or something.

Seconded. The show is far better with the four couples together.

The dynamic of the couples has completely changed the show since its inception, if they finally had all four, they'd be able to play on new possibilities.

I think they don't want to be paying another big bucks star.

So now Penny not only looks like a boy, but dresses like one. Opening an extra button didn't help.

Is she a big name? I don't recognize her from anything else and looking at her filmography she seems to have had some minor roles but nothing that really stands out that I would think makes her an in demand star who they'll have to pay a bunch to get as a recurring character.

By the way, did she also turn up in this week's 12 Monkeys?

As soon as she gets equal billing as the main cast, and it's her face in the "Bazinga!" graphic above, she'll want equal pay. I think that's what Astrofan means.

Meh not necessarily. For an actress like her getting some exposure on the number one sitcom right now is probably a pretty big deal. She might make as much as Bialik and Rauch at most but maybe not even that right away. Either way I think they need to bump up her character's involvement as the way she's being used now is kind of a joke if you ask me. She barely does anything and most of the time is just mentioned. It just seems dumb to finally give Raj a girlfriend but have her barely do anything.

New to the show (watching on BD) and this had me on the floor. Absolutely one of the shows best moments.
I have now watched S3 and I didn't find it as funny as the first two. Does the quality drop off?

Regardless of billing, going from 3-6 episodes a season to the full 24 will cost a pretty penny even at the rate she's at.

I'm not saying it'll cost the show nothing to bring her on full-time but if they're going to have her on they should use her fully rather than just make mention of her the majority of the time or have her show up briefly every couple episodes.
