well they could have had all the people at the old folks home playing Bingo while eathing their Jell-o .... then they could have titled the episode Bingo .... but would have had to come up with a different title to episode 7 :p

If I was that actor, I'd probably be willing to accept that prop money for payment. I'd love to have stacks of hundreds with my face on them.

Talk about attention to detail ... the nurse was in Breaking Bad. Some of the tiles on the hospital's hallway floor also had the "BB element logo".

They should have gone with "Geletin Dessert Snack" instead! Everyone would know what they were talking about.

Blue tiles on the floor aren't the BB element logo.

Those figurines that the old lady was willing to family and friends are Hummels

My Grandmother has a ton of them, in addition there are also plates that hang on the wall (you can see them in the background). In the late 70's early 80's they skyrocketed in value (with runaway inflation in the US). So to that generation, they are like gold - and at one point were worth more than gold. Unfortunately today they are not in demand and worth a couple of bucks.

When I was a kid I told my Grandmother I wanted them when she passed on - thinking they would make me rich (in a kids mind)... She still says to this day "when you were a little boy you expressed interest in them" ... so I have a feeling that I will be getting box loads full of Hummels one day.

She even bought me "the scholar" Hummel figure when I graduated college. I didn't even know they had names untill she gave me one and told me the name, so it made me laugh when the lady brought down the "alpine Shepard boy"

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's just coincidence. Tiles with patterns like that are fairly common.

I thought this was the best of the season so far. Each episode gets better. As mentioned, the money from the secession guy was hysterical. And of course, the toilet. “Fill me up, Chandler. Put it in me!”

Did I see one of the APD detectives from BB on Mike's porch? It was quick, but I thought I saw one of the guys who interrogated Pinkman.

Toward the end of the show, was Mike eating in the same diner that was featured in many scenes in Breaking Bad? It looked very familiar.

It's not the color. It's the design. They have used the same pattern through both series. I believe this is the second time they appeared in Better Call Saul.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but they all don't look alike.

I hope Saul's 2 goons from Breaking Bad make an appearance this season.

Excellent as always.

So, perhaps a dumb question, but I guess this show takes place in the same "universe" as Breaking Bad? I mean I know it's a spinoff for Saul's character, but this is the same Saul that ends up in Breaking Bad, kind of an origin story?

Yes, definitely the same Saul.

I'm still not seeing it but I could be wrong. Like I mentioned that's a fairly common design for tiles like that.

I thought the nursing home Saul was visiting was the same as the one Hector was in and that Walt blew up, but wasn't sure until I saw that link posted by dex14.

That's plausible, but I hope not because I'm dying to see Hector before the stroke.

Does anything happen after that girl drives past Mike? I got a phone call and missed the end.
