Here's a hint!" * Leonard Nimoy transforms into artillery and disintegrates the last King of Heaven Angels: "What did he say his name was?" Leonard Nimoy: "Leonard Nimoy" Angels: "All hail Leonard Nimoy! Leonard Nimoy!" * Leonard Nimoy grabs a flaming sword. He looks down. Leonard Nimoy: "Lucifer, with this I shall make you my slave." Leonard Nimoy commences to lead an attack on Hell. Eventually he gets to the heart of the capital city of Pandemonium, storms the palace, and confronts Lucifer on his throne. He readies the sword. Leonard Nimoy: "First Baal, then Beelzebub, and now you. It's a pity you demons die so easily. Or else I might have had a sense of satisfaction. I will crush you just like Megatron crushed Prime!" (I know most people know him as Spock but to me, he was Galvatron). |
Re: RIP Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)
William Shatner will not be attending Leonard Nimoy's funeral. Cites a prior commitment to a Red Cross Charity Ball in Florida.

Re: RIP Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)
it's not like Shatner is out playing golf... he's doing a charity event, to raise money. timing sucks, but something tells me Nimoy wouldn't want it any other way considering the circumstances.

Re: RIP Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)
Life imitates art - Kirk also left Spock behind on Genesis ("Why would you do that?")
The obvious answer here is that Shatner needs to STEAL a plane back to Los Angeles. ("Shatner, you do this and you'll never fly first class again!") |
Re: RIP Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)
Shatner did an interview about Nimoy a couple of days before his death with CNN. I think he was totally aware of Leonard's condition and had his opportunity to say goodbye to his friend. He didn't have to go to a 'razzi covered funeral to make that goodbye more heartfelt.

Re: RIP Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)
I have been watching Seasons 2 and 3 of THE VIRGINIAN and Nimoy appeared twiced.
"Man of Violence". 2nd Season. The interesting part about this episode is that DeForest Kelly also guest stars. Kelly plays an Army Doctor and Nimoy an outlaw. They share a couple of brief scenes together. "The Showdown" from the 3rd season Nimoy and Michael Ansara(Mr. Freeze from B:TAS) play tough as nails Lawmen in an Arizona town. Nimoy has a much bigger role and is very good. Rest In Peace and Live Long and Prosper!!! |

From Mark Evanier, the real story behind William Shatner missing Nimoy's funeal:
http://www.newsfromme.com/2015/03/20...funeral-thing/ That is such a Kirk/Spock move, outsmarting the bad guys one last time. |
