Presumably Fish is learning how to break the six to twelve minute barrier. My DVR must've frozen or something, I didn't see that scene with her eye :headscratch:. I'll have to look on Hulu or something.
So Barbara is continuing to feed and clothe the street urchins who've wandered into her apartment for no apparent reason? Where is she getting this money, all she does is sit around and get get high at 9 AM? Yes, that's right, encourage the young sociopaths! Use your budding sexuality as a weapon! Apparently Bullock is one too, evidently he's not phased by dead bodies and violence. The Alfred storyline was really, really good, he's by far the best thing about this show. The final payoff was kind of interesting too, though I knew the instant we saw Reggie that he'd be no good. Probably the best episode yet overall.

Thought this episode was excellent but disjointed. Didn't even mind Barbra coming back. Loved that she got told off by Selena. Very creepy of Barbra to tell Selena to use her looks as a weapon. It seemed like she was trying to corrupt her.
Interesting take on the red hood. A bit silly but I liked it.
I'm not sure what removing her own eye did for Fish. Do they need both eyes? Why wouldn't they just take the other one out of spite? Cool scene either way.
So Butch doesn't like Fish now. I'm guessing that is part of his programming. I like the back and forth he had with Penguin.

Last week I was thinking Fish was turning into Morlock from the X-Men (yes, Ghost of Taffer, I know that's Marvel and Gotham is DC). When she took her eye out this episode it seemed like she's trying to look like that character even more.

I unequivocally love this show. I know people have issues with it but I think it really works. Fish is probably my least favorite arc, but there are so many it just does not seem to matter. Enjoyed seeing the Warden from Alcatraz again. I think there is just the right amount of young Batman.

I'm a Batman fan for the last 30 years and I get such a kick out of watching this show. The little nods to the greater mythos they seem to throw in week-by-week give me a little smile or two during each show. Hell, I even like the Fish stuff.
None of the stuff that happens outside of canon bothers me as Elseworlds were invented for Batman. This is just another as far as I'm concerned.

Out vile jelly!
That was fucked up. I've heard of harvesting organs, but can you transplant body parts onto somebody else?

I've heard of hands and faces being transplanted. The Fish eye scene was a bit much - what did she expect to do being there unarmed or being there at all? Consumed by her hutzpah? (sp)

I thought this was an excellent episode, I wasn't expecting that twist with Reggie. The Fish storyline has been handled oddly, like all of the scenes were filmed apart from the rest of the cast. I wonder if she was slated to die earlier in the season and they decided to keep her around a while longer?
Barbara is definitely becoming a villain.

I initially thought Barbara was going to have to become Batgirl's mother, but apparently they are steering her towards becoming a villain. As soon as they introduced Reggie, I knew immediately that he was going to be bad guy by the end, though I wouldn't have guessed he'd be working for the Wayne Enterprises board.

If Jim Gordon named his daughter after her, it would be weird if she was more than a minor villain. I thinking villain, then redemption in a way that justifies naming Gordon's daughter after her.

As for the money - her parents are rich - she probably had a huge trust fund which she received at a certain age. (Theres a scene earlier this season of her visiting her parents after that lady girlfriend who is a detective broke up with her again and her parents house was a mansion.)

I strongly suspected it only because they included the board room scene in the opening recap so it was very likely to be relevant this week.

I did NOT see that coming.
Not really bothered by it either as not every Batman or comic story has to follow the comic lineline which is a mess in its own right anyway.
