Gotham is so ludicrous, but I'd totally watch a sitcom with Barbara sharing an apartment with the future Poison Ivy and Catwoman.

Does Barbara become a criminal now that James Gordon is dating someone else?
Yes, well, drugs are bad. I learned that in school.
That's Crispus Allen, apparently a big character from the comics. Though what purpose Barbara serves on this show beyond showing off her legs, I've yet to discern. Montoya arbitrarily decided that she was bad for Barbara and left her to go back to Jim. Don't know where she grew a Conscience.

I wonder if the producers are building Barbara up to turn into their own villain? Possibly connected to a well-known villain that Batman eventually faces.

Maybe they are turning Barbara into a villain, but I got the feeling the scene was more about putting the idea in Selena's head than it was about Barbara. I'm hoping for the villain route because it would mean the writers at least have plans to do something with the character.
