Maybe she was going to kill the SSR chief if the item they were after had been acquired. But since the spy signalled that he needed more time, she backed off.

i dunno , i'm really only watching because of a charismatic lead actress and it's Marvel. But the storylines so far feel like a cheap standard procedural set in the 1940s

Also... Dotty was in John Wick. I thought she looked much more attractive in that as the tatted pin-up looking bartender.
She is way hot in season 5 of White Collar and both seasons of Legend of the Seeker.

It feels like a straw man caricature of the 40's to me. I know they're not going to necessarily treat her as an equal, but this hard nosed Micky Spillane shit is getting real old. Glad we're done with the old mother hen at the girls hotel as well.

If they do this again for the AoS mid-season break (assuming there is a season three), I hope they jump ahead far enough to leave this era behind.

I said the same thing to my wife.

My question is why do Jarvis and Peggy continue to do the stupid back to back whisper talk in the diner only then to go outside and ride in a car and walk all over creation together? Even her friend in the diner acknowledged Jarvis in this episode and yet they still sat back to back.

For what it's worth, my wife likes the show a lot more than I do. I like the chick playing Peggy but lord the show moves like a snail making love. Wonder how the demographics for viewers break down on this show?

I do not understand this criticism. There's an explosion or a gunfight or a small child killing a commando happening in nearly every episode.
