I thought this was one of the funnier episodes in awhile. Enjoyed the girls embarrassing moments and all of Bernadette's reactions, and enjoyed Leonard and Sheldon working together. Even liked the small bits of Howard and Raj, whether it be the engineer jab or Raj not being able to come up with a funny line.

I liked that the episode did not devolve into the tired sitcom cliche of Leonard and Sheldon fighting for credit over the paper.

Definitely one of the better recent episodes. I suspected some real life braniac was trolling them. I've enjoyed seeing the subtle growth that Sheldon has shown lately, too.

I was about to post this same thing.
When Leonard questioned Sheldon writing a paper on his idea and Sheldon stated "our idea", I thought we were going to go down the standard path of Sheldon being an asshole and a big fight would start over it.
Very surprised to see that Sheldon was a team player and made sure Leonard wasn't left in the dust (ie. the simultaneous mouse-click, the names they had for each-other, etc).

I complained that last episode everyone was just phoning it in, but this episode actually showed some growth from Sheldon... and his annoyance level was extremely minimal. Almost felt like a reboot of the character.

The problem is that we've seen moments of character growth before from Sheldon but it never seems to stick very long. It seems like the writers move the character ahead a bit one episode but that backpedal on it.

Wow, excellent episode. This one was firing on all cylinders. Loved going back to Serial Apeist.

One thing though, Amy expressed displeasure at Bernadette modeling for that science calendar but seemed okay with a beauty pageant? Maybe because it was in the past?

Sheldon seemed to be less of a dick about that this time, or maybe they just realized that they'd been down that well and wisely decided not to return to it.

Oh, I agree. But at this point I'll take any growth from Sheldon even if it's only contained for a single episode while he reverts back the next episode. I think that's the most we can expect from this show - especially since they can only show so much temporary growth with 2 more seasons to go still.
