Shameless (S5E02) - "I'm The Liver" - 1/18/15
Frank tries to talk Sheila out of an offer from two lesbians who want to buy her home and begins warning everyone of the neighborhood's impending gentrification. Meanwhile, Lip starts his first day of work; Kev bonds with Svetlana; Ian plots revenge with Mickey and Mandy against a homophobic military funeral protest; and Fiona officially comes off house arrest.

Man, I really hate Sammi this season. I hope they dump her white trash ass soon. But, I did
when her fat ass kid laid a turd on Sheila's furniture.
at the homophobic preacher getting blown by one of Ian's pals. 
Fiona did look really hot in that meeting while trying to seduce Sean. When those fat asses were giving her a hard time and asking for so much shit, I had a feeling that would lead to something.

I love how it's subtly just showing us that Fiona is such a fuck up in the grand scheme of things and it wasn't just some bad luck last season. She really is as bad as frank when it's all said and done.

Yeah, wasn't she sort of normal when she was first introduced? I thought she was just a hardworking single mom last season.

Agreed about Sammi. The character took a complete 180. Just doesn't ring true to me. Bad writing. I think it's because they didn't plan on keeping the character.

I'm guessing Fiona is now being her true self as she never got to be when she was younger because of the family responsibilities. Now the family is older and are less dependent on her, she's trying to enjoy herself - which unfortunately (because of being a Gallagher) is self-destructive and reckless. That's the only explanation I can understand for Fiona's behavior the last 2 seasons.
And I agree about Sammi. She was the most level-headed and probably "good" person in the family - but I guess at this point they figure that it doesn't make good storylines, so they keep her around and totally change her personality.
