Banshee (S3E02) -- "Snakes and Whatnot" -- 1/16/15

As Lucas and Carrie case the tunnels under Camp Genoa, Proctor and Rebecca find themselves in a territorial faceoff with two rival drug suppliers and, later, are threatened by a pair of Chayton's thugs. Lucas and new deputy Billy Raven (Chaske Spencer) pay a visit to a decidedly unfriendly Kinaho bar. Carrie tries to end a relationship with Col. Douglas Stowe (Langley Kirkwood), who may be misrepresenting the amount of cash in Camp Genoa. Gordon hits rock bottom before resolving to turn his life around.

Written by Halley Gross; directed by Loni Peristere.

Good second episode.

Damn, that shootout in the meat factory was crazy. Rebecca is fucking nuts.

Good to see Nola back as well. I at her head butt on the guy who harassed Carrie.

I'm nervous for Nola because judging by the preview she's going to be in a full out battle with Procter's psycho henchman.

Was that Brock's ex-wife who was going to be Procter's mother's nurse? Didn't recognize her with all her clothes on

How many psychos can one show have?

at that guy getting beat up again

I wonder how Brock's ex-wife is going to come into play. Seems like they would only make that situation happen if it was going to pay off later.

"Let's do this the old fashioned way."
"Mother fucker, that's the only way you know."

Awesomeness all around. Job and Rebecca were really awesome this episode. And yeah, the psycho population in Banshee is off the charts lol.

She still goes by the name Emily Lotus, so yeah.

Not sure why the opening was changed, think it's a one-time thing or that's the new opening credits now?

Hood had no clue how to be a father..

More peripheral characters introduced that will add to the warring factions. Should be a fun ride.

The whole show is psycho not just the characters, but I truly love it. Really great second episode.

I know I'm in the minority here but so far this season hasn't really caught my interest. I still dig the characters but I'm getting a little tired of Banshee as a setting. I guess that's the pigeonhole you get stuck in when you name the show after a geographical locale.

I like this show, but the editing just annoys the hell out of me sometimes.

I hope it doesn't mean something that Odette Annable still hasn't made the main credits.

I have to say that I'm suprised they have been able to keep this show intersting into Season 3 from what the original plot was about. Another great episode!

You took the words right out of my mouth, if I had one gripe about the show its the "too clever" editing they always seem to throw into it, seems like it could be a little more restrained.

Other than that, still one of my favorite shows on tv, very underrated... Ive tried telling people to watch it and nobody does

Still enjoying the show. Still fine with the editing.

A+ all around. Most enjoyable show on television, IMO.
