Since network shows (usually within the same 'franchise' or production companies) sometimes do "crossover" episodes, it just got me wondering which cable shows might lend themselves to this. Not talking about spin-offs but genuine crossovers. I suppose it would be limited to shows that happen within the same eras (unless one wanted to do a Homeland/Americans crossover with Carrie's dad being an agent investigating the Russians). Any thoughts as to which shows would lend themselves to this?

Could Frank from Shameless end up in a hospital being tended to by Nurse Jackie if they happen to be in the same city? Would they end up sharing meds?

Perhaps on the same line of thought - Falling Skies should be a sequel to the Librarians.

Louie and All Sunny. Louie is visiting LA (where the bar frontage really is and the show really shoots) and has a surreal experience of meeting The Gang, who is delusional and thinks they're living in Philly.

I could totally see Jack Bauer popping up on Homeland. Then, after that nympho Carrie had sex with him....

Law & Order can cross over with almost anything thanks to Munch. He was even referenced in Luther.

The first one that comes to mind is Reese from Person of Interest showing up on Arrow. Both characters are rip-offs of Batman, it would be funny seeing them meet. Root meeting Felicity...

A good way to make that happen is having Gloria Votsis appear as Maxine Angelis, covering the story of the disappearance of the Arrow.

And turning out to be ex-girlfriends...

Felicity also has to date Reese, cos he's technically a super hero and she's like catnip for them.

How about a crossover between Welcome Back Kotter and Agent Carter? Call it Agent Kotter (or Welcome Back Carter).

Rumplestiltskin comes into possession of a powerful Kree artifact/weapon. While trying to stop him some SHIELD agents get transported to the Enchanted Forest.

There was a Hawaii Five-O & Arrow cross-over. One of the Mob bosses that had a small part in Arrow in the first season and survived was mentioned as a fugitive on Five-O.

I actually like that idea. Except, instead of anyone from Agents of Shield, I'd like the few lower tier movie characters to appear instead. Heck, bring back Sebastian Stan and have him reprise his roles as both Bucky and the Mad Hatter.

That would be pretty entertaining, especially seeing the PLL women go crazy over Damon and Stefan.
