Ready to see more villains not hit by the explosion. Or how about people hit by the explosion that suddenly don't become raging, murdering assholes.

Just my thoughts... C'mon, Barry couldn't be the only guy hit by the explosion who stays good and everyone else turned bad...

I liked the use of the word "Crisis." It will be interesting to see how they proceed with that.

Agree on all points  the show needs to progress from that. Though Wentworth Miller's character got away a few episodes back (we'll see him again I'm sure), and he wasn't hit by the accelerator. Tockman wasn't either (though he had nothing to do with Flash really). Interesting that the best villains on the show so far have been Prison Break alumni.

Pretty sure he wants to make a weapon against the Reverse-Flash, the yellow blur seen in previous episodes.

The names Wells dropped as having been killed by the accelerator:

Jake Davenport and Daria Kim -- friends of Farooq. Made up for this episode.

Ralph Dibny -- from the comics. In the comics, he was:
Spoiler:
The Elongated Man, who had stretching powers similar to Mister Fantastic from the Fantastic Four (Elongated Man was created first, though). He was a long-time hero and member of the Justice League. He and his wife (who had no powers) were often portrayed as a superhero Nick and Nora Charles (from the Thin Man)

Will Everett -- In the comics, he was:
Spoiler:
Amazing Man. Created in the 80s for the All-Star Squadron, which was set in World War II. He was African American, and was created so the All-Star Squadron wouldn't have an all-white cast, since most of the other characters in that book were vintage characters who were actually around back in 1941. He had the power to absorb the properties of any material he touches, similar to the Absorbing Man/Crusher Creel from Marvel, who was in early episodes of Agents of SHIELD this season. In the 90s, they introduced Will Everett III, grandson of the original, who had the same codename and powers and was a member of the Justice League.

Al Rothstein -- In the comics, he was
Spoiler:
Nuklon, and later Atom Smasher. He was the godson of original (Golden Age) Atom. He had super strength and, in some incarnations, could grow (up to about 50 feet tall). He was created in the 80s as a member of Infinity, Inc., which was a team of the children of some of the original DC characters from the 40s (besides him, they had Wonder Woman's daughter, Hawkman's son, and Green Lantern's children, among others), and later joined the Justice League.

Bea DaCosta -- In the comics
Spoiler:
She was Fire, a Brazillian superhero who had powers like the Human Torch. She was created in the 70s for the Super Friends comic as part of the Global Guardians, an international superhero team, but she was later brought into the mainstream DC comics and wound up joining the Justice League

Grant Emerson -- In the comics, he was
Spoiler:
Damage. Damage was created in the 90s and the big hook of his book was that he was the child of a Golden Age hero, but the readers weren't sure which one. It was eventually revealed that he was the son of the Golden Age Atom, but his DNA had been manipulated and injected with DNA from many major Golden and Silver Age heroes. He eventually became a member of the Titans and, of course, the Justice League

Ronnie Raymond -- He was working at STAR Labs with his girlfriend, Caitlin, as we've already seen. In the comics, he was
Spoiler:
Firestorm. Technically, he was half of Firestorm. Firestorm was created when Ronnie Raymond got caught in an explosion at a nuclear plant and merged with Dr. Martin Stein. Firestorm had Raymond's conscious mind, and Stein was kind of a voice in his head. Firestorm had nuclear transmutation powers -- basically, he could turn any atom into any other atom, so he could do something as simple as turning lead into gold, or something as complex as transform a pile of dirt into a building. He can also fly, shoot blasts out of his hands, and turn intangible. And he was a member of the Justice League.

Yes it's possible but unlikely.

I've been doing a marathon of this and Arrow today, so these are general comments about the whole season so far (I didn't want to bump older threads)
I like that the guy that played Flash on the old tv show is his dad
I like that he blurs his face when around people that might recognize him even with the mask

I do have to agree that the Smallville style freak of the week is getting a little annoying though. All these people got their powers when he did, just like all those people in smallville had issues due to the meteor shower

hopefully they'll have a few more people that are just smart criminals and not powered by the explosion, or if powered go against the grain and have their powers pre-exist the explosion
