Missed half of it due FOX cutting to the Ferguson grand jury decision. I bought the season on vudu so I will watch it tomorrow.

Same for me. I'll just watch it on Fox's website tomorrow.

Had to watch it On Demand thanks to the preempt but that was a cool episode. Fall finale is next week, I guess stuff will get real.

Re: Sleepy Hollow (S2E10) -- "Magnum Opus" -- 11/24/14

The Ferguson coverage cut off the last couple of minutes on my DVR. My recording stopped just as Crane and Abbie were about to put both of their torches in the oil.

My guess:
- sword revealed after oil burns off
- wisecrack from Crane
- cutaway to John Noble doing something ominous
- zinger to set up next week

If this isn't the case could someone fill in the brief details...
thx

They found the sword in the oil. Back at the evil house Henry tuns off the magic necklace causing Kat to see reality.

I'm finding i like the Horseman when his head is showing even when he's being a prick. I know there is still some good in him though...

I was without power for a couple of days so I just got around to watching this. It was a nice set up for the second half of the season. I like that Irving is going back to fight. The gorgon fighting Abraham was pretty cool.

I know Fox had to preempt the program for the news, but would it have killed them to have rerun this later on in the week? My On Demand from my DVR is wonky, and my Internet connection sucks so much that watching it on Fox's website looked like a VHS tape that'd been pulled out of a swimming pool. Anyway, I get why he did it ("I am an evil supervillain who must follow all tropes, so instead of killing you, I want to watch you suffer!"), but leaving them alive so they could find Excalibur qualifies him for the stupidity hall of fame. And if the magic of the cave kicks in when you come in, shouldn't his head have been visible then? Or was it only making you appear that way, so the Medusa couldn't actually look him in the eye? The "Jeremy must still have humanity" shtick is getting kind of old. I'm assuming we'll be seeing another Horseman by the end of the season? Though obviously CG, the Gorgon looked pretty good. So in Greek myth, can you look at the Gorgon indirectly like Perseus did in Clash of the Titans with the mirror? I assume it worked with the iPhone? Kind of a random addition for the mythology, but hey, you have to find a monster every week.

Different older episode, for some odd reason.
