"Jax comes face to face with an ugly truth"
Spoiler:
Katey Sagal will be singing the opening and closing montages? And the finale will be one giant montage with Jax struttin' around in slomo?

My wife didn't realize until this episode that Sagal and Sutter are married. I said "Why do you think she gets to sing so many horrible songs?"

30 minutes of half truths and kooky misunderstandings are fine, even hilarious at times since you know it'll wrap up in that time. But two hours of that just gets tiring.

I mean, I know they've done that kinda shit before but maybe only one or two instances per episode. This whole episode felt like "you gotta tell me but don't tell anyone else you told me" *immediately goes tell someone else what you were just told not to tell*

When did Alvarez become a big teddy bear?

You had to fck up the Nero/ Gemma confrontation with that shitty "police chase"?

And speaking of police chase, wasn't Chibbs standing right next to jarry and Unser after unser got punched and he said to send out an APB on Jax?

The jazz music during the chase scene was so out of place it was hilarious.

Yes they were. I was just coming her to comment on that very fact. I also found it funny that Jax seems to be assuming he is going to survive after the rest of the club have their meeting about him. I would think he would be a dead man walking at this point.

I actually liked this episode. Things seem to be coming to a collision.

It's almost as if Sutter has decided to wrap up the show.

When Gemma got caught by Chucky while leaving the house, I was initially convinced that she was trying to smuggle Tommy out in her luggage on wheels.

Can't wait for the SOA spin-off featuring Chucky and the Scooters of Destruction (SOD).

That's all Redwoody had in its generic music archives.

Weller directed the episode, so maybe that's why we heard about but didn't see Baronsky.

Interested in seeing Juice's fate.

Totally saw Borowski as the mole, the show loves to telegraph crap.

I actually liked the jazz music, Weller directing the episode made sense for it to be there because that's a classic staple of late 60's to mid 70's chase scenes. It was better than another no-name screamer band.

Seriously. Jimmy Smits is the best actor on the show & that was a great scene, but cut short by the Dukes of Hazzard chase.

I thought there was 1 ep. left. Not sure how it's going to be milked into two.

Same here, it was a nice change from the crappy hip hop and metal that usually populates SOA chase scenes.

Man, Smits killed it in that reveal scene. Thought Hunan did good at the end scene with him as well.

Did anyone else get the vibe Jax might meet a similar fate as his father when he was working on the bike? Sure seemed like it...

Will the series finale be titled "Throw Momma From the Train"?

I couldn't get the Good Ol Boys theme out of my head and kept waiting for Jax's car to hit a ramp with a mid-air commercial cliff-hanger.

Re: Sons of Anarchy (S7E11) -- 2 Hours -- "Suits of Woe" -- 11/18/14

Everyone dies. Not everyone truly lives. Which is to say that while he's alive, Juice has been a dead man walking for as long as I can remember. I can't remember a time on the show where he had any enjoyment from life. Certainly not since he killed another member, but even before then. He could walk out of prison today a completely free man and he'd still have no life. Everytime I think about Juice, I think about "Levels of hell". Improving his situation only moves him up a level. Better, but still hell. Not much to look forward to.
