For a episode called Harvey Dent there was very little Harvey Dent. They could have cut him from the episode and nothing would have been missed.
I might have missed something but the bomb guy made something in his hand before he busted out of the truck. He picks the object up before being released but he never uses it. I'm not sure what that was about.
Bruce and Kitten Girl were great together. Plus there was a real reason to have Selina on this episode. But the one stupid thing was Bruce in the pool with all his clothes on but Selina doesn't say anything about it. I can see practicing holding your breath but do it in swimming trunks not a sweater.
Penguin was great as always. I loved how creepy he was in this episode.
And then we have Barbra. I didn't think I could hate this character more. She is gone for less than 24 hours and she is cheating on Gordon, the guy that saved her life. There was no reason behind it for the story. They just did it for ratings or to get people talking about it. The only positive that might come from this is Barbra could be used as a tool to advance Montoya's character and create some drama between her Gordon. The only problem with that is it wasn't need. If they wanted to advance Montoya's character just have her help with any of the countless crimes going on in Gotham.
In the end I liked the episode except for that horrible ending.

In the animated series Dent and Bruce were good friends before Dent became Two Face. He was also good friends with him in a few comics. In Beware the Batman Dent was kind of crazy and friendly with Bruce but Bruce wasn't really his friend. His history gets changed around a lot but I believe he has always been district attorney in all his different histories before becoming two face.

What horrible casting. He looked nothing like Billy Dee Williams.

Best episode so far. I get the sense the writers are finally getting a grasp on how much Bruce and Alfred they can use as well as the dynamic of their relationship. The bad guy in this episode was also well used and wasn't your typical baddie. For the first time this season, I'm actually excited about the show.

The animated series really did a great job hitting home the idea that Dent had multiple personalities before the accident disfigured him. 'Big Bad Harv' is constantly being repressed and kept in check by Dent. The accident puts him over the edge. I loved the way the actor handled him in this episode.

The animated series is exactly what that moment reminded me of, I was wondering if that was something Burnett came up with, or if it had precedent in the comics?
Aww, the budding sexuality of adolescent sociopaths! How cute!
Liking this show well enough, but it's still basically a predictable procedural at heart and I'm getting a little bored with it.

I wonder if this show will end up becoming something other then what they originally thought. With so many hints and some not so much it feels like we are waiting for things that will never happen on the show.

Yeah, I wonder what the endgame is for this show. I have to think that ideally we'd see Bruce become Batman in the series finale. But the only way that happens is if they started the show with Bruce in his teens OR feature some sort of time-jump in between seasons.

I think the problem with most of the "prequel" concept kind of stuff is that it kind of ties the hands of the writers in where things can wind up.

I enjoyed the episode and liked how the "villain" wasn't really a villain in the traditional sense. I'm not an avid comic reader, but am an avid fan of Batman in other media, particularly television. Sometimes it's hard to resolve how I traditionally view these characters versus how they're being portrayed on Gotham. This episode in particular was difficult to reconcile with the age difference between Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent (I think traditionally they've been portrayed as relatively close in age). Doesn't ruin the series for me by any means; it's just something that throws me off at first.

Was the bomber supposed to be Firefly?

She's a really cute girl.
