Tomorrow it continues with SVU and PD
If you only watch 1 or 2 of the 3 shows, you're going to have to record all 3 since they are all linked together.

I watch both Chicago shows but i've never seen a single episode of Law and Order and i'm not gonna start...
So hopefully the SVU part isn't too significant.

you kind of have to for the Chicago PD episode to make sense.
Jason Beghe, Sophia Bush and Jesse Lee Soffer are the featured guest stars of SVU. The plot from SVU carries over to PD. Voight and Lindsay are a big part of the SVU episode from the preview I saw and plot synopsis.
The SVU episode is called Chicago Crossover.

Okay, so I watched Fire tonight.
For the first 40 something minutes, it was a normal Chicago Fire episode. Then Severide discovered a box full of child pornography and torture photos during a routine fire call. Voight and Lindsay were called to the scene.
Lindsay found a photo of her brother who has been missing for over 10 years since he went to New York. Hence, that's how SVU is linked to this. Kelli Giddish (Rollins) from SVU made a brief appearance at the end and the SVU unit is going to help with this investigation. Lindsay contacted her by phone and is traveling to New York.
So yes, it looks like you absolutely have to see SVU.
It was a good Fire episode as well. I was surprised that Severide married the Serinda Swan character.
at Cruz conducting the Zumba class.

Re: Chicago Fire -- Law and Order: SVU -- Chicago PD -- 3 episode/2-night crossover
Finished SVU and PD today.
Really solid 3 episode arc. Some pretty dark & twisted stuff on there with this child pornography ring, although they can only go so far on network TV.
I liked Voight being his usual jolly self when he visited New York and interrogated that suspect, which pissed off Olivia.
I thought it was smart that NBC had Mariska guest star on PD along with Pino and Giddish. Also the episodes seamlessly transitioned to one another.
Only issue I had was Liv's plea to the ring leader after stopping Voight. No scumbag child pornographer would wake up and feel guilty.
Since this is November sweeps, it made sense to do this and the ratings boosted for all 3 shows. I won't be surprised to see another one later in the season.

I enjoyed it overall but making the viewer watch Chicago Fire was a waste of time...at least for me. They could have edited the final scenes into last weeks ep. of CPD.
