Episode 5 of 23

ABC ordered an extra episode this past week. Now up to 23. Ratings are up because of this Elsa/Snow Queen arc.

Enjoyed last nights episode.

Liked the flashbacks to Emma's past. It gave a little more depth to her character. Also enjoyed seeing she and Regina bond most of the episode.

I thought for a TV budget, some of the effects in this episode were pretty good, including the ice bridge scene with Elsa. The Elsa and Snow Queen arc has brought a lot of new life to the show.

The highlight of this episode was really Elizabeth Mitchell. She's been great as the Snow Queen. She's playing evil great and in a very subdued, non over the top way. I bet Mitchell was so happy when Revolution got the axe. She's finally getting a chance to shine here. I liked the little reveal at the end that Emma previously encountered Snow Queen in one of her Foster Homes. It seems like she's obsessed with having a family.

Weakest part of this season thus far is David and Mary Margaret. They've just become a boring married couple.

Another good episode, this series has been on a great roll since halfway through last season. They haven't turned Regina fully evil again, which is refreshing.

I think this show is violating SAG (Screen Actors Guild) rules. Elizabeth Mitchell's breasts have had a prominent role this season and I don't see them getting their proper due in the credits.

Wow, second Thor reference this season, when Charming said something about the Portal to Asgard...
