In this episode, a confused asset wonders if they contracted an std and will lose their 40 virgins. Meanwhile, Quinn imagines a life as a chubby chaser free from the CIA.

Saul needs to brush up on his field work skills.
Dull episode for the most part.

Didn't saul have a security team around him? And I would think they would head home with him if there was. Of course a former head of the CIA isn't a valuable resource in a place like pakistan, so we'll just let him wander around by himself.

loved the "if I don't call he got on the plane"
plus in a public place they would use code words...
plus Carrie is a psychotic shrew, though boys may be as easily led as he is
still enjoying it, far from season 1 but at least theres Fara

Caught up on this over the weekend -
What the what - Carrie just goes off the grid for a day or more, there is no way a station chief could do that. Also no way she has no security.
I would have laughed so hard if the kid had ran out after she talked to Quinn.

Jesus, could Saul not be more obvious while tailing a suspect. Not surprised he was caught.
When Carrie started making out with Ayan again, it almost looked like she was giving him some tongue. I don't know what they are going for making Carrie have a sexual relationship with him. Enjoyed Quinn and Fara working together.

Meh episode. As much as I wanted the whole Carrie/Brody love saga to end, I just feel the show is going through the motions and its the same old same old anymore. Carrie abuses her power and is never held accountable, the plan doesn't go accordingly, things get fucked up, Carrie ends up being right in the end. There is no arc to Carrie's character anymore, and that to me is a big part of the show. The baby angle, her mental health issues, etc is all just forgotten and is just a typical suspense show that we will probably know how its ends.

So are we to assume that Carrie has found the perfect mix of meds and takes them regularly? Cause it looks like they're abandoning the whole crazy Carrie from earlier. Not that it's the most unbelievable aspect of the show but it's still annoying.

I ditched this season halfway through the third episode. Just couldn't hold my interest.
If I hear it improves a lot by the end of the season I might binge watch it via on demand.

This has been a fairly slowly evolving story arc so far, though with Saul's abduction I suspect things will escalate. Can't say I've been completely riveted but yet I still watch.
Carrie has gone from troubled-but-driven to completely unlikeable over this show's run, but clearly that is intentional (given her actions).

It was a trap all along.
They knew Saul was going to airport and wondered why he was there.
They let Saul discover that dude was in the airport and strung Saul along.

It wasn't Dexter bad but yeah, Saul was caught too easily.
The season is just OK but it's gone fast I think.

She's been off her meds for a couple of days now. When will the crazy start to kick in again?

I was thinking maybe the ambassadors husband would break in again and swap out her meds so Carrie ends up in looney town again.

finally realized ambassador's husband is Duck Phillips on Mad Men.

This was a pretty lackluster episode overall, but I thought Saul was incredibly sloppy in his trailing. Then no one batted an eye when he went in there then came out unconscious in a wheelchair? I also don't understand how Carrie was able to ditch Quinn and her team for her "cover" (or in reality, to get laid) for two days? She didn't think to even check her phone or see a missed call from Saul?
This is a general observation, but do they usually cast actors of Indian heritage to play Middle Eastern characters? It's pretty glaring that Life of Pi and Nimat Kaur are not Pakistani.
