 Woo Hoo Jane finally had sex!!

Go figure that she didn't enjoy it at first.

Loved the cartoons.

"Tap that Ass"

The sex animation was hilarious complete with the tap that ass sign.

Well, in Mondays episode, they wrapped up the Petra/Anezka storyline fairly quickly. Now evil and nasty Petra is back.

The tattoo on Anezka's head saying..."Not Petra" was a little overboard though.

I found the episode a little too homoerotic. Lots of unnecessary male sexual tension and dudes admiring each others bodies.

I mentioned it in the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend thread, but the actress who plays Petra guest starred there on Friday.

Monday's new episode after returning from the break was a little odd.

Michael having the epiphany and deciding to be an stand-up comedian was pretty uncomfortable to watch.

I did  at the beginning when Jane spit out the muffin before the credits.

Just realized that Xiomara's boyfriend played Carlos on Desperate Housewives.

Damn, I just got caught up with the last 2 episodes.

That was a total kick in the nuts episode on Monday.
:(

Poor Michael. RIP

They did kind of foreshadow it with the way Jane and Michael were re-living their 1st date and in a few other episodes.

The 3 year time jump should be interesting. But I wonder if they will have flashbacks to the aftermath of Michael's death.

I've seen Gina Rodriguez in recent appearances in the media and in some interviews and her hair was much shorter like they showed in the flash forward. I didn't suspect it dealt with the show.

Ugh that was just heartbreaking! The showrunner said they will have flashbacks to the direct aftermath. It will be interesting to see where all the characters are after three years.

It's an 18 episode final season.

I realize this show probably doesn't fit the demographic of this forum, but it's been a solid run. This thread has been mostly dead for the last 5 years. It's really funny and has some warm moments. Last season ended on a big cliffhanger with Jane's previously thought deceased husband being alive.

BTW, one of the main characters Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is the director of the new movie Five Feet Apart.

I still love the show and I hope for a solid ending. Last season's cliffhanger was a dozy but it's a telenovela so, what did I expect. They've announced a spin-off haven't they?

Yes a spinoff is being developed and cast. It's not officially picked up yet. Gina Rodriguez would apparently narrate it if it goes to series.

Well, I just binge watched this, and I LOVED it. I haven't gotten so caught up in a show since Farscape. Really loved the self aware telenovela plot, and just the general warm hearted wit of the show. Rogelio is one of my favorite characters ever--he was just hilarious. Petra, too. Kind of sad it's over.
