Color me shocked that the shotgun that they went to the close-up on when it was put in the bag would come back to bite Jax.

What shitty and lazy writing...
Bringing tea to Wayne to give reason for Gemma to find the Tara police stuff which just happened to be laying out there for her to see...well that was convenient. Wonder if that is finally the beginning of the end of Juice - have to think as soon as Wayne gets close Gemma has to end either Juice or Wayne or both. Or Gemma will spin the murder on Juice and have Wayne kill him?
And the shotgun....
Sutter really puts the sut in subtle.
I'm surprised the shallow grave in episode 1 hasn't yet come back on the club; Sutter must be saving that for later on.
I'm not expecting Emmy Award winning writing, but "Jesus Christ" do the writers need to be so damn lazy and transparent with the plot development?
That said the Tig/Rat scene in the car was pretty damn funny.

Two episodes in and I've already started the Gemma skip -- anytime she appears on screen press the 30-second skip button until she's gone. Makes things a tiny bit more bearable.

I can't do this anymore! I love this show and i seriously liked every single season. But i CANNOT go through more than one or two episodes about the whole domino effect that Gemma put into place the moment she lied about the Chinese killing Tara.
It really aggravates me that the viewer is seeing all this while Jax is clueless and leaving a trail of dead (innocent-ish) bodies. The viewers are stuck seeing this unfold unable to do anything except yell at the screen.
And for Jax to stop doing all this pointless revenge stuff against the wrong people he needs to learn the truth about who truly killed his wife and we all know that if he finds out Gemma doesn't have long to live. and do you really think Sutter will let Gemma be killed off before episode 12 or 13? So we're stuck watching this fake war for an entire season?!
I still love the show and the characters and the world they inhabit but this plot device takes the cake.

I remain confused. Probably because I now watch this show while fucking around on the computer and my phone.
Why did Jax kill off that older Sons kid? wtf is going on here...

Same exact thing happened last episode, when Wendy asked Unser to get her jacket from the closet, even though she was just one second and a couple feet away from getting it herself, but it conveniently set up Unser to see Juice's backpack. There's so many other ways to do this stuff to make it believable, but Sutter's lazy and doesn't give a fuck.

more Three's Company shenanigans:
didn't Jory/Jury introduce those guys as some 'muscle' he hired? if one of them was his son he could have at least mentioned that to Jax and avoid this future conversation:
Jax: sorry Joury, we had to pin the chinese hit on those guys you hired.
Juory: That was YOU? YOU KILLED THEM?
Jax: yeah, they were just some random thugs right? It was for the good of the club brother. I love you.
Joury: THAT WAS MY SON!!!1
*altogether now*
Jax: JESUS CHRIST!

More whining... (looking back on the show in hindsight)
So the Chinese setup this significant drug for guns deal, pick a nice secluded spot with only one road of access (kind of smart)... and they don't even bother to have a lookout and just let some random guys drive up? (slightly less smart?) Even if they were just random people - they were moving the guns right out in the open. Why let them drive all the way up... well other than the fact they were too fucking dumb to have a lookout up the road and that was apparently the only way for Jax et al to "surprise" them.
And somehow that was only about the 10th most absurd thing on the show.

This one was very hard to get though. Hopefully Jax finds out the truth, but as others have said - I can't see that happening before the last few episodes.

Re: Sons of Anarchy -- "Toil and Till" -- 9/16/14
It was his son... just more hackish writing by Sutter et al. He was intentionally just introduced as local muscle; I can only assume this is a "plot twist" in Sutter's mind. It's only in that final scene that it's clear he's his son.
Why Jury would not tell Jax it was his son seems ridiculous - I think Jax even asked him can we trust them at some point and you'd think that would be a good time to mention it was his son? I'm sure Sutter will reveal some ridiculous reason why Jury kept it hidden at first. There was also the top notch Jax curling up to his son in bed interspersed with Jury cradling his dead son (I assume that was intentional and supposed to be artiistic and meaningful)
Not that I'm bitter at all about the writing on this show!

Just watched this tonight. WTF is Jax doing?
And really? That young muscle is the son of the Indian Hills charter leader? Okay, that's going to make things a little messy. I didn't get the thing with the shotgun. So he knew that gun belonged to Jax?
I'm kind of tired of the subplot with Juice being on the run. I hope that goes somewhere.
Interesting that shortly after Annabeth Gish gets killed off The Bridge, she has another job lined up right away on Sons. They must really like her.
