re: Titans -- coming to DC Universe
Here's an idea of Starfire's height compared to other DC heroes. While I would probably quibble by an inch here or there for several of the listed heights, it's pretty good. Thinking of people that could play Starfire, a young Tyra Banks could have fit the role.

Australian actor Brenton Thwaites, who most recently played the young male lead in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” and last year’s “Gods of Egypt,” has scored the key role of Dick Grayson/Nightwing in TNT’s “Titans”.
The series, a live-action adaptation of the “Teen Titans” comics series, sees Thwaites’ Grayson leave behind his Robin identity and emerge from Batman’s shadow to become the leader of a fearless band of young, soon-to-be superheroes. While the statement doesn’t officially say Nightwing, casting breakdowns from the other month confirm the character takes on that moniker in the series.
In the statement, DC Chief Geoff Johns says: “Dick Grayson is one of the most important and iconic heroes in the DC universe, and it wasn’t easy to find him but we have. Brenton has the emotional depth, heart, danger and physical presence of Batman’s former protege and the Titans future leader. We’re extremely lucky he’s chosen to bring his talents to this project and this character.”
Thwaites joins a cast that currently includes Tegan Croft as Raven and Anna Diop as Starfire. “Titans” is set to stream exclusively on DC’s new online digital service which will be launched at some point next year.
Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are executive producing.

They were previously rumored as front runners, now it’s confirmed – Alan Ritchson (“Smallville”) and Minka Kelly (“Friday Night Lights”) have joined the cast of the DC live-action series “Titans”.
The pair will play crime-fighting/romantic duo Hawk (aka Hank Hall) and Dove (aka Dawn Granger) in the show produced by Warner Bros. Television. Both are recurring roles but could be upped to regulars if a second season goes forward.
Titans follows a group of young rising heroes, led by Batman’s former protege Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) and including the likes of Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven and others.
Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti are penning the series which will premiere in 2018 as part of DC’s new direct-to-consumer digital service.

Potential villain spoiler... http://www.darkhorizons.com/the-tita...s-the-acolyte/
A casting call for the upcoming live-action “Titans” series has seemingly unveiled new details about the show’s villain – one that will be familiar to those who read “Young Justice” in the 1990s.
The Hashtag Show, who broke the casting news on Hawk and Dove serving as characters in the show, have learned a key role will be that of The Acolyte. In the series he’s an African-American male in his forties looking to capture and steal Raven’s powers after murdering her adoptive mother Angela in a failed kidnap attempt.
In the comics, the Acolyte is seemingly a blue-skinned, horned demon with a wide array of mystical powers until its discovered he’s really a human with clever tricks and prosthetics to make himself appear to be more than he really is.

Minka Kelly seems like a decent fit for Dawn Granger.

I don't like it, but as always, means nothing without seeing it in action.

I think that image of Robin looks surprisingly impressive. Suit looks pretty good from what can be seen. I assume this is Tim Drake Robin since he has the staff. It would be cool if they could work other Batman characters into the show or possibly Nightwing.
Edit: I missed that this apparently is Dick Grayson. I suppose that makes sense as he’s more known to casual fans.

Man this is really shaping up nicely. Dove's big eye mask looks just like the comics.

I hope they start releasing more information about the DC streaming service soon like pricing and programming.
I'm curious, but it's really a tough pill to swallow to try to cough up more money to yet another content provider when I can barely keep up with Netflix and Hulu content.

I like it. Masks may look cheesy but that's pretty faithful to the comic. I'm still wondering what Starfire is going to look like, though.

Twitter has some leaked photos of Beast Boy, Raven, and Starfire in costume. I realize it's preproduction (maybe, hopefully they turn Beast Boy green in post), but... it's not exactly inspiring confidence, especially Starfire.
