Thanks for starting the Defiance and Domion threads dex14
I'm a little surprised that more haven't checked out Dominion unless the premise really doesn't appeal to them. I mean it's a pretty dark serialized futuristic drama. And the actress who plays Claire is freaking gorgeous. Unless the whole Angels thing is just too out there?

Uriel playing her brothers was a nice twist as was the reveal of the eight ball.

I think it is the stench of a pretty bad movie series holding interest down. I've enjoyed Dominion far more than what I've seen of the films.Originally Posted by DJariya

The reveal at the end of this episode was a really good one and unexpected, they didn't give it away at all.

Yeah, I liked the reveal at the end, too.
Overall, I like the show okay so far. Anthony Head plays a "bad guy" very well, and I like the conflict between him and his son--which looks like it will heat up even more. The angels are pretty cool and the 8balls are creepy. I think the weakest part of the show, unfortunately, is Alex. I don't care for the actor playing him and the character is written as kind of an idiot anyway. It's kind of hard to get invested in a show like this when you dislike the main protagonist.

I guess I am conflating Legion with another trashy Paul Bettany franchise, Priest and its sequel.Originally Posted by randian

There isn't a sequel to Priest either, thank God. It's even worse than Legion. You might be conflating the two because they have the same director and star.

These generic Paul Bettany franchises tend to blur together after a while.Originally Posted by hanshotfirst1138

His greatest achievement in Hollywood is somehow snookering Jennifer Connelly into marriage.
