Wasn't it apple pie? Ties in better with the Garden of Eden angle.

Maybe it was cherry pie...All right guys, don't forget to tip your cherubs and serpents and now on the Tree of Life stage lets give it up for E-E-E-Eve!
She's my cherry pie
Cool drink of water
Such a sweet surprise...

Holy shit. Lester. What a selfish piece of shit.

Poor Linda. Once he made her put on the red coat, she was toast. She totally didn't deserve that.

I hope Malvo does something sick & twisted to him next week in the finale.

You have to admit, Martin Freeman and Billy Bob were both awesome as the anti-heroes of this series.

I think it was more than just camouflage. She was in awe of Lester, even admitted to having a crush on him, and was hot. It made him feel good to be so desired and to show her off; she was basically a trophy wife.

I figured he had stayed at the old place for a while and had built up a strong client base, then started his own business relatively recently, bringing his clients with him. And it's not clear what the requirements for the Salesperson of the Year was. Maybe they factor in more than just overall sales, but also things like overall improvement and triumph over adversity.

I think some of the shots of the hotel hallways could've been an homage to Barton Fink.

I wonder if we'll have a deus ex machina in the way of the "Deaf Fella"? I'm thinking Malvo has Molly and/or Gus in his sights, and he shows up like Malvo asked him to a year ago.

I can't tell if Key & Peel are supposed to be good agents that fucked up, or goofy agents trying to get out of the file room. They talk how they staked that place out for 6 long, boring months, so I can kind of see the slip up by letting Malvo slip by. But all of their scenes have this goofball quality to them and it's hard to take them seriously. Then Key or Peel tells the Molly and the Chief how excellent her police work was with this air of authority that really seemed a little out of place coming from him.

We caught up with this show over the past 2 weeks, and I just love it.

I think Key and Peele are screw ups, but Eff Bee Eye is going to initially sound impressive to small town cops.

But I think almost any idiot could look at Molly's work and see it was impressive. Bob Odenkirk just tuned out anything she said.

It would be funny if Lester is blamed for killing his (new) wife and ends up in the same prison with his brother.

No ... It would be "funny" his brother was killed in prison ... That one is on you too, Lester.

Yeah, no. Funny is not the right word.

It's a damn shame that tomorrow's episode is the final one of the season. I have no idea how they're going to tie everything up in one episode.

That's why it's 90 minutes.

I know this was being billed as a 10 ep miniseries - but is there a chance FX orders more and gives it a season 2 or is it 100% a 1 and done situation? Absolutely love this show.

There's talks of a season 2. The showrunner isn't comitted to a season 2, but says if there is one, it'll likely be a different cast of characters and a different story.

I hope season 2 goes back in time to show us the "Sioux Falls Incident" that's been mentioned a few times from the 70's.
