Because Graceland got good ratings for USA.

What was so shocking about it getting renewed?

I don't understand his point. The premise for Graceland isn't so narrow. It's about undercover FBI, DEA, ICE agents living and working together. As they established in season 1, the leader of the house (Paul Briggs) is questionable on whether or not he's good or bad and that storyline is still lingering. This isn't a weekly cop procedural.

Also Graceland is created by Jeff Eastin, who created White Collar. White Collar is one of USA's longest running dramas and Eastin's work is respected by the network.

But he killed the red viper in season one.

I knew that. I didn't want to explicitly spoil that for the folks who don't know anything about Graceland and by some chance read this thread because of Desmond's silly thread title.

That was one of the key plot points in season 1 that really changed the show.

And I like how Desmond creates a thread like this, disappears, and really adds no context to his OP.

You can have Serinda Swan, I'll take Vanessa Ferlito.

Usa is pretty much in AMC mode at this point. All there established franchises have ended (or are about too). That's probably why. It didn't get the greatest ratings the first time around...and honestly the show isn't that good.

I've never heard of Graceland. Was disappointed after reading this thread to find out it's not a show about Elvis' home life.

I got it mixed up with Nashville in my head when I saw the thread title.

I was actually thinking of that cop show with Jason Lee from a few years ago when I clicked on the thread.

Remember its a different timezone here in OZ and the weekend

Ok back to thread

The lead character in Graceland is one of the most cliched annoying little brat prettyboys there has ever been in TV and i can tolerate most

the most interesting characters are kept in the background

I actually didn't hate hate the show, hence my thread, i just didn't think it had the quality to be renewed
