Yeah, really didn't think it was actually going to happen. At the very least, I thought maybe we would just see the result. Very unpleasant, but great TV!
Again, they borrowed from Hannibal (the film) with most of the Carlos bits, particularly tasing Lecter, the smell of Carlos, and trying to feed Hannibal to the pigs.
I was wondering how Mason would end up in the wheelchair. Then I thought Hannibal had killed him. I don't remember Hannibal breaking his neck in the book.

Great episode. Was really hoping we would get to see Mason cutting his face off and am super surprised they did it.
Nice to have Anderson back too and finding out what happened with her patient.

Please tell me I am normal. Even though I was disturbed by the scene, I was laughing every time he spoke during it. "I'm full of myself." LOL. It is OK that I was laughing, right?

I think the disturbing violence and gore is allowed because of how dark everything is. Some scenes I need to squint and really look to see what's going on.
The show is so surreal and dreamy. Nothing like it out there right now.

disregarding the cannibalism and pretending everything Hannibal serves is the legitimate meat he tells his guests it is and not human, does anyone else think many of his "fancy delicacy" dishes are disgusting sounding?
whole fish and who knows what else suspended in a jelly of who knows what
liver and other organs on a regular basis
the whole bird bones and all from a week or two ago

Regarding the cuisine, I would like to try most of it, with proper (i.e. non-human) meats, but the bird with bones? Not a chance.

This was one of my favorite shows of this season. All sorts of great scenes in this one. I got a kick out of Hannibal beating up the 3 goons in his office before getting tasered by Carlo.
I am kinda curious about that last scene where Will is talking about Jack, almost egging on Hannibal to kill Jack. I think he's trying to bait him into killing Jack so Hannibal can be caught and tried for murder.

This is such a brilliant, fascinating show. Not really like anything I've ever seen before. The performances by the core three actors are so arch. The look on Hannibal's face when Mason starts driving his knife into the I'm sure antique and expensive therapy room chair was hilarious. I thought he was going to dice him into stew meat right there. Michael Pitt was fannnnnntastic.
