Aquarius, pretty much the entire 2nd season. Pity that there won't be a 3rd.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Just saw the back half of The Tick reboot (Amazon).

I still don't know how I feel about it - I don't find it that funny as many of the jokes are familiar to me from the previous two versions. And I'm not looking for drama and angst in The Tick.

I think I liked Midnight the best

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Watched Battlestar Galactica: The Mini-Series

I never have finished the whole show. Something about the dreariness of the world on-ship and the religious bits that I seem to recall take on more relevance later in the show - just made me eventually stop watching.

I hope to make it through the rest of the show eventually though I'll probably have to throw other seasons of other shows in between.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

The Mindy Project Season 4 - Hulu. Holy flip I forgot that when The Mindy Project went to Hulu it was given a long ass season. I watched episodes 4 - 25 of Season 4 the past couple of days and I think I completed at least ep 1 of season 5.

I do like that it is an easy binge and I will be caught up soon enough but again...good lord, I am not used to seasons with more than 23 episodes (and I consider that to be long, appreciating when a season is no longer than 22 eps).

Mad Men Season 1 & 2. Might as well re-binge and actually finish the series.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

^I've watched it through, probably three times, now (once broadcast and twice on Blu-ray). Still enjoy it enough that I'll watch it again, at some point.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

My wife found the complete Daria with the original music restored so we’ve been binging that. I didn’t think it would be as good watching as a 40 year old but it’s still pretty smart and funny.

I just finished season 3. I think I had stopped during season 5? There was a part where they split the season -- I think Jessica Pare was already on the show, but there was a stretch that was awful, and I never came back to finish.

Season 7 was the only split season. Like most shows, the earlier seasons were better, but I never found myself disappointed to the point where I didn't think it was worth watching.

If you really did stop, mid season 5, you missed a particularly good episode.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Everything Sucks! - Netflix. As noted in the thread for this show, I really enjoyed.
The Mindy Project - Hulu. Yay, all caught up because Seasons 5 and 6 were less than half the length of Season 4.

Doh, just realized that I completed the show because Season 6 was the final season. I now have much less of a distraction as I jump into ep 2 of the The Handmaid's Tale (as noted, a bleak show that you want to digest and recover from before watching another episode instead of simply binging the show).

Finally got a chance to watch You, Me, and the Apocalypse. With this and The Grinder a couple years ago, I've really been liking Rob Lowe shows.

I'm in season 5 Episode 4 now. I totally forgot about the the Betty Draper fat suit -- the prosthetics are horrible in those episodes. About as bad as Peggy's prosthetics in the first season. I do love Jessica Pare, though.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Season 8 or Archer (Dreamland) finally showed up on Hulu, so I watched all 8 episodes last weekend. I had stopped watching the broadcasts because it moved to FXX, and my shitty cable services only carries in in SD. That, and with some episodes clocking in at 19 minutes, the commercials are way out of hand.

Ok, just wrapped up season 5 - that was a great season. Just started 6. Shit, I either never finished 6 or I stopped before I finished 7.

Money Heist on Netflix. Fantastic 13 episode thriller. I didn't want it to end. Great show until the last episode... if you have seen it you will know why. Was not expecting that!!

Crashing Season 1 and 2. Didn't know it existed, started last week and blew through the 16 episodes.
