Re: Last Show You Binged?
Just finished up my first time viewing of original Twin Peaks. The first season was obviously the best stuff but there were enough good moments strewn throughout season 2 for me to be positive on that season also. Now on to Fire Walk With Me and the Showtime series.

Yeah I've seen a lot of his stuff (The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart, Mulholland Drive, The Straight Story) just never had watched Twin Peaks and I figured this new series was a good enough reason to start from the beginning.

I decided to finish Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders season even though it got cancelled.
I binged through the last 5-6 episodes I had on my DVR.
Anyways, I was satisfied with how it ended. No cliffhanger. It was a self episode for the finale with a "happy" ending. One of the main characters got shot, but survived. Since the show barely got renewed after the 1st season, I guess the writers wanted to be safe than sorry and not screw over the fans.

AMC's "The Son".
Another Saturday Night Quasi-Western from AMC with Pierce Brosnan as the lengendary patriarch of a Texas Oil family in the early 1900's. Overall, it's much more satisfying to me than "Hell On Wheels", though it's pretty basic in it's story-telling. The format finds approximately half the story following Brosnan in the early 1900s as a ruthless old tycoon, and the other half a flashback to his time as a teen with The Comanchees. The problems with the series are that the actor playing Brosnan as a young man doesn't evoke the actor at all, and the stated time-frame of the story would make Brosnan a (very) robust eight-something. Still, I found it good meat-and-potatoes entertainment. Ten episodes, renewed for season two.

Shooter, season 1 (USA Network show, s1 streaming on Netflix)
I liked it pretty well. Ryan Phillipe is a pretty bland lead, but the supporting cast is good and the action keeps things moving along at a swift pace.

Ozark on Netflix. Started it Sunday, Wife had me stop it around ep4 or 5 because she had to go out, then she came home and binged it alone all night and was still watching when I left for work this morning. I guess I'll have to finish it on my own.

Marvel's Luke Cage.
I'm about 5 more episodes from finishing up. It's the last one I need to finish before taking on The Defenders this week.
