I just finished up my rewatch of Arrested Development Season 4 before finally starting season 5. I remember it being disappointed but this rewatch has shown me no it's just flat out bad. Occasionally their will be a funny character moment but pretty much every storyline and plot point is a clunker.

I've also been following along with the Giant Bomb podcast and watching through Dragon Ball Z Kai and I just finished episode 98 (the end of the Cell Saga). I had previously only watched the real early stuff back when it was on Toonami and I'm surprised how much I've enjoyed it. The fights still drag sometimes even in this condensed Kai version but the characters and goofiness keep me entertained.

I finished season seven of The Great Food Truck Race and started season eight. I also watched the first three episodes of Barry and I really enjoyed it. I'm planning on watching some more Barry episodes tonight. It's a very unique show.

I finished the last half of Chicago PD's 5th season over the last couple of days.

Killed off one of the principal characters who's been with the show since day 1.

The show doesn't get any chatter here I think being that it's a network cop show, but it's a decent watch and does have some dark grittiness to it.

Heartland - Netflix. Jiminy Cricket I watched the entirety of Season 10 over the course of 4 days, 4 eps last Thursday, a few eps on Friday with a pause to watch Like Father (which was okay at best), 8(!) episodes on Saturday, and the final 3 on Sunday. Yeah, I am a fan of the show.

Also, I told myself that if felt like I watched Netflix all day on Saturday because it turns out I did watch Netflix all day on Saturday.

But wait, that's not all...I also watched quite a few episodes of Mash on Hulu and I am now I believe on at least episode 3 or 4 of Season 6.

I did have a chance to do other stuff, such as cook a Blue Apron pizza kit which took a solid 2 hours and some other general tidy up stuff I do on the weekends, but the tv watching bug clearly bit me hard this weekend.

Just wrapped up season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead. I don't know why so many people hate on this show. I really love the characters and find the viewpoint of the fallen world from Mexico to be really interesting. I wish they would make more spinoffs showing how everything went to hell in other parts of the world.

BrainDead: Season 1 - Episodes 6-13 - Finally finished this since I had extra time. Very happy there was no unnecessary cliffhanger.

American Gothic (2016): Season 1 - Episodes 4-13 -Another one I started two summers ago. Nothing special but entertaining enough to finish.

Vida: Season 1 - Great, short season! Will tune is for Season 2

The Detour: Season 3 - One of the most consistent comedies around

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story - Started off very strong, but it became less compelling after the first few episodes. The acting was excellent all around, though.

Mash - Hulu: I am on season 8 I but I have to say that season 7 felt like peak Mash because there were some fantastic episodes.

Disenchanted - Netflix: On episode 8 and so far it has been a fun viewing experience. I think this show will grow on folks as time goes by.

Disenchantment Season 1 Part 1

I can see a little Simpsons here but really I think it has a distinct Futurama feel which is great. There is a small season arc here which didn't work all that well for Futurama when they tried to do the long 'movies' which were just four episodes strung together, so I hope it works here.

Favorite characters: Luce, Bean, and 'Reptilicus' the Serpent Queen. I thought of all the names they could have used to describe her that was particularly great since that was also the movie the new MST3K premiered with - considering Josh Weinstein is also part of Disenchantment, I like to think it was deliberate ;)

The show has a bit of a slow start but by the time I got to the Hansel and Gretel bit, I was sold on the show. I can't wait for the second half of the season and I hope it isn't too long til it comes out.

Just binged Ghoul on Netflix. It's a Hindi/Netflix/Blumhouse horror film. Great production, horror elements, and effects. I was bummed that it's only 3 episodes - for some reason I thought it was being released as a feature length film. Each episode is less than 50 minutes each and since there's only 3?

Two fantastic series to binge. Loved them both. A couple lackluster episodes in there but good entertainment. WH 13 really picks up in ep 5 with the addition of Claudia.
