Star Wars Rebels Season One

Just enforces how inept the Prequel Trilogy is.

The Last Ship. Caught up on the past 8(!) episodes between Friday evening and now, but it was worth the binge.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Beauty and the Beast (CW) -- Caught up with the last 7 episodes over the last week. It doesn't get talked about here, but I still enjoy the show. The season finale airs this week. Just amazed how this show is going into season 4 with awful overnight ratings. No one is watching here and barely anyone in Nielsen families are watching either.

Younger (TV Land) -- Caught up with the last 8 episodes via Hulu before they expired. Binged it over 2 days. Really like this show. Will definitely be back for it next year.

Currently on S1E5 of Person of Interest S1-4. Can't say enough good things about this show, it's rare I get hooked like this.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

From Saturday till this morning wrapped up Once Upon A Time Season 2 episodes 9-22. I felt the first half was really weak but the second half was really great.

I've burned off the first 7 episodes of Crossing Jordan Season 1. Still as great as I remember it.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Noticed the other day that all of Serial Experiments Lain was on Hulu, so I wound up re-watching all of that. Great show, still.

Going over Now and Then Here and There now.

Once Upon A Time Season 3. Ep. 13-22. Thought the whole season was good but really liked the first half. Starting Season 4 tomorrow and will hopefully be all caught up by the season 5 premiere.

Rewatched seasons one and two of Sleepy Hollow. Season two was a lot better than I remember.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Six episodes of Mr. Robinson - then I found out like an hour later that it was canceled - sigh.
First seven episodes of Impastor - unfortunately Hulu has that 21 day waiting period so I can't finish the season right now - sigh again.
Better news - was able to start/finish Goldbergs Season 1 since I have that on DVD - will do Goldbergs Season 2 next week - have that on DVD too!

Update - I can watch the last three episodes of Impastor on the TV Land website - will do that on Monday - so yeah there!

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Finishing up some old stuff off the DVR from the summer before Fall TV officially starts:

Killjoys (SyFy): Finished the last 4 episodes today. Honestly, I didn't really like it that much. I liked Dark Matter and it's characters better. It ended on a cliffhanger, so I'll give it another go next summer.

Stitchers (ABC Family): Finished the last 6 episodes over the last 2 days. If this show didn't have 3 attractive leads (Emma Ishta, Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Allison Scagliotti) I probably wouldn't have finished the season. The show was just okay. Decent summer filler being a sci-fi police procedural. Thank god it was only a 10 episode season.

In binging some shows, I also made a few sacrifices to clear out more DVR space. I bailed on:

Mr. Robot (USA): Just couldn't get into it. I watched 4 episodes and honestly outside of the Pilot, I barely understood what I was watching. Deleted the remaining 6 episodes I had recorded. One of the rare instances where I couldn't finish a season. I guess I'm in the minority being one of the few who didn't like it.

Orphan Black (BBCA): Completely lost the magic it had in season 1. It was no longer must watch. I had 6 episodes stored since it aired and had no urge to binge them.

The Astronauts Wives Club (ABC): I only watched 4 of the 10 episodes I had recorded. It was decent and I liked most of the female cast, but I didn't feel compelled to finish it.

I now have 70% free on my Directv Genie. The most I've had free in almost 2 years. Feels somewhat liberating to clear out so much this summer.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

8 episodes of Chasing Life yesterday/last night

I was never going to drop the show. I just had a bunch built up and finally made the time to catch up. Some really gut wrenching & dramatic episodes.

Italia Ricci is a really beautiful actress. I've loved her work on this show. I hope this comes back for a 3rd season. Looking forward to the Italy shot season finale next week.

Pretty sure a lot of people gave up after episode 4, which was way too early for an episode like that - I pretty much tuned out of that particular episode myself. Chalk it up to growing pains I suppose, that series got more grounded after that but it's simply just not for everybody.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I've watched the last 2 David Tennant specials and seasons 5-8 of Doctor Who in the last 16 days. This is only surpassed by the time I watched Smallville in like 2 months. It was pretty great but
Spoiler:
when the Master showed up again it's like oh this time he has unlimited Cybermen instead of unlimited Daleks or unlimited golden snitches. And the structure of the episode remains exactly the same for all Master episodes.
