The Åre Murders (Netflix) - a Swedish mystery/crime thriller series about a detective from Stockholm who is on leave in a remote town and gets involved in a murder investigation. This was just okay. Not bad, but a little cliché at times. Five episodes total. The first three episodes are about one case, and the next two episodes are a different case.

Happy Face on Paramount Plus.

I liked it. It is based on a true story but I hope they exaggerated the fifteen year old daughter for drama. No one is that fucking stupid, not even a confused teen.

Adults on Hulu. I rather enjoyed it but man is it heavy on the cringe.

Escape at Dannemora - :thumbsup: excellent limited series based on a true story about two convicts planning an escape from prison in upstate New York. It stars Benicio del Toro, Paul Dano, and Patricia Arquette. It was directed by Ben Stiller. currently streaming on Netflix.

Toxic Town (Netflix) - a British limited series based on a true story about a group of mothers who brought a lawsuit against the local borough council due to toxic waste contamination from a reclamation project causing birth defects in their community. It stars Jodie Whittaker, Aimee Lou Wood, Robert Carlyle, and several other recognizable British actors. It's only four episodes, and it covers a time span of several years. It was very well done. :thumbsup:
