Been meaning to watch it for a couple years now so I started a "What We Do in the Shadows" binge on HULU. It's wild seeing certain actors in small roles in season 1 that are now on popular shows.

Impact (2009) - a two-part disaster miniseries, made in Canada and currently streaming on Peacock. It stars Natasha Henstridge (Species), David James Elliott (JAG) and James Cromwell (Star Trek: First Contact). It was a cheesy sci-fi show with bad science, but it was okay. A large piece of a brown dwarf star collides with the moon, sending it into an orbit which brings it dangerously close to the Earth, causing all sorts of gravitational and electromagnetic mayhem. A team of scientists must figure out how to save the Earth before it's too late!

Teacup, season 1 - a Peacock original series starring Yvonne Strahovski and Scott Speedman. It's a horror series, and a pretty good one. My initial thought during the first episode was of Stephen King's Under the Dome novel (not the crappy tv show adaptation). However, the Wikipedia article on the show says it was inspired by Robert McCammon's novel Stinger, which I read once about 30 years ago and don't remember very well. There are some obvious influences from The Thing (1982) as well. Regardless of the inspiration, it's a good show, with a few gruesome deaths and plenty of suspense and a mystery about what is the cause of the danger in which the characters find themselves.
