The Night Manager was a 6-episode BBC limited series which aired in 2016. Based on the novel by John le Carré, it appeared to be a one-and-done until it was announced this year that it will be returning for a second and third season. Fine by me. The story follows Jonathan Pine, the titular night manager of a luxury hotel in Cairo who is drawn into the world of wealth, privilege, espionage, and international arms dealing. An intriguing story with gorgeous and exotic locales (Morocco, Switzerland, Spain), this series is a must watch for fans of the spy thriller genre and John le Carré himself. Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie are excellent here, as are Olivia Colman as the manager of a British Foreign Office task force, and Tom Hollander as fixer, front man and trusted member of Laurie's inner circle. An all-around first class series. Highly recommended.

Only Murders in the Building…S3. Blasted through S3 and will rewatch the first two of fourth season again. I’m just not ready to leave this world quite yet and it pains me that I just kept going and didn’t savor. Just a remarkably fun show.

The first 4 seasons were excellent. It's a shame that the final season was rushed through somewhat so that Terence Winter and Martin Scorsese could start work on their next project (Vinyl). Not unlike another one of my favorites (Banshee). Both shows deserved better, IMO.
