Extant on Amazon Prime

Season 2 premieres tomorrow night and I'm trying to get caught up. I watched 4 episodes last summer (thought I watched more) and just stopped. I think my vacation last summer interrupted it and I never got back into it.

Anyways, I've binged through 5 episodes today. I hope to get a few more in and finish it off tomorrow.

That's very brave of you. If Under the Dome didn't exist, everyone would be flogging Extant for how bad it was in season one.

I only want to get back into it because they cast Jeffrey Dean Morgan (who I like) as a lead and dropped most of the original cast members. Goran Visnjic, who played Halle's husband, will return only as a guest star. He's now on Crossing Lines. I heard they essentially retooled the show for the second season, but still focusing on the original plot.

The only reason it came back was the Amazon Prime deal, DVR performance and international sales.

Watched the last 6 episodes of The Goldbergs

I think it's a fun show and like re-living many things that were popular in the 80's.

Season 4 of Boston Legal, it's kind of a chore of a season which is a shame because almost everything up to this point has been gold.

Binged on 'The Transporter' Season 1 on Netflix, and then moved onto 'OITNB' Season 3.

I'm on season 3 of Wentworth and it gets better and better. Everybody needs to check out the show. The character development is amazing and the main actress is tremendous.

Thanks to this thread too, I just binged on Broadchurch and finished season 1. It has a 100% vibe of The Killing but it's much better. The AU/UK accents aren't bad at all to understand, but maybe it's just me from watching their Big Brothers throughout the years so I'm used to it.

Clearing out some backlog from last season.

Watched the last 4 episodes of American Odyssey. Yes, the show was cancelled, but they managed to wrap up most of the important storylines. They left a few small things lingering should it have gotten a second season, but no cliffhanger ending.

Binging on 'Graceland' on Netflix right now and about halfway through Season 2 - pretty decent show for me, but am glad that its only shorter seasons.

Depending on the definition of Binged but I've been watching "Father Knows Best" on Hulu. Generally one or two episodes each day. Haven't sat through multiple episodes at one sitting however. Well, perhaps two in a row max.

Just finished the last 2.5 seasons of Mindy Project after giving up on it after the first few episodes. Also, now almost finished season one of You're The Worst. Might do all of season one of Married when I finish.

Watched the last 7 episodes of NCIS: New Orleans 1st season over the last 2 days

Finished really strong after some meh episodes in between. Didn't end of a cliffhanger either. Glad it's coming back. The characters really started to gel.

Binged episodes 2-10 of Welcome to Sweden's 1st season today on Hulu. Only saw the 1st episode a year ago, but wanted to finish it since the second season started tonight.

Greg Poehler is an awful actor, but the show does have some charm.

Just finished off the last season of Castle to clean out my DVR. The show takes place in NY but is filmed in California. Just noticed the scene where there were NY state troopers. The cars were pretty close but the officer uniforms were these generic looking things from the prop dept. Not even close to real NYS trooper uniforms. The patch read State Police with no mention of the state.

Finished off the last 3 episodes of Fresh Off The Boat. It will be interesting to see what changes they will make going from 13 to 22 episodes season and the possible exit of the real Eddie Huang.
