This time, instead of not knowing the host, or musical guest, I wish I didn't know either.

Coldplay can eat a bag of dicks. Though I do like Black Keys and St.Vincent.

Andrew Garfield promoting a reboot of a movie trilogy that just ended in 2007!!!!

I like the second more uptemp song "A Sky Full of Stars" better.

Is Leslie Jones a new cast member or just a writer getting screen time on WU?

The Oliver Twist sketch was a big waste of time.

I feel like they've done the awkward kissing sketch before.

Re: SNL 05/03/14 -- H: Andrew Garfield -- MG: Coldplay

The only stuff I found amusing was the opening monologue and the kissing sketch. Both of which seemed to prove that Garfield needs Stone as his co-worker to be really effective. He was okay on his own, but seemed at his best with her.

I am getting tired of Kate McKinnon as the crazy foreign woman. Since Meyers left, Weekend Update is only good for gawking at Cecily Strong and wondering how I didn't get a girl like her.

Garfield looks nothing like Justin Timberlake but the voice/impersonation was pretty good. I also liked the Beyonce short.

I thought this was an extremely poor SNL episode, and I'm usually one of the more forgiving viewers.

SNL should be wary of having action-movie-centered hosts - They ALMOST come across as VERY stiff in this show.

Case in point: Andrew Garfield, Steven Seagal, Daniel Craig

Andrew Garfield COULD NOT stand still during the Family Feud sketch. It drove me nuts.

during the kissing sketch, he had to say the same lines over, and over, and over again, yet he still had to look past Stone to read the queue cards?

Seagal hosted a long time ago and probably in 1991

They should get Nick Offerman to host a future show.

Pretty sure that was the point - part of his JT impersonation.

Not a very good episode overall (the Oliver twist sketch was horrible), but I thought Garfield was fine. He did his best when stone was with him, but he was pretty good in the feud sketch at least.

Although Garfield is best known for a comic book role, he's definitely not an "action-movie-centered" star. Certainly not like Seagal, lol.

The only real good laugh I got was on WU - "high school cheerleading has been recognized as an official sport - DAD..." Still don't like that guy, though.

Yes, she's a writer, and is getting a lot of hate from various black groups from her piece.

I still like her, but I hope they don't overdo it with her.

I loved the Beyonce bit, especially with the Jack Bauer cameo.

I wasn't offended by it at all. My wife and I laughed more than we did at any other point during the show. She was hilarious. She is right people have got to stop being so sensitive.

It is a comedy show and don't know why people would take it seriously.

Vanessa Bayer has not had a lot of screen time the last couple of weeks. Hope she stays on the show.

Nasim Pedrad can last for 5 seasons on the show and Sarah Silverman lasts only season before getting fired?

Ah, just remembered the other decent sketch, which I thought Garfield was also good in - the wedding toast. Loved how it kept snowballing.

I loved the bit, and Leslie's response to the criticism as well - if a comic hasn't offended someone they're not doing their job right. When did black people become such tight asses?

Wow not necessary at all. People of every race are tight asses. This is nothing new. Some people are offended by it and some people like me aren't. Has nothing to do with black people becoming tight asses.

Everybody is super tight assed right now, the worst are my people (the Asians), they seriously whine about every goddamn thing right now.

I blame the Twitter.
