I wonder what would be entertaining.

I wouldn't call it boring, but with so many episodes compared to a lot of others shows that are on now, 10-13 additional ones, there is a bit of slowness to the development of the season. I quite like it, but I do think it could be a better show if they told the same storylines over 13 episodes instead.

That said, the last few episodes have been really good, and I did not expect the ending, I thought that was more a finale event since they were foreshadowing it so much.

On an aside, seems like the Island flashback story is close to its chronological end

It can't be. That Oliver is nowhere near the Oliver we have now. They've said he was on the island five years so I'm guessing there's at least another three years to go.

She never got to reveal that Malcolm Merlyn is still alive. I'm assuming he will pop up when he hears about Moira's murder.

I don't see it. This show is so disappointing and meandering. I jumped in on the episode with Slade visiting the Queen household. Awesome episode! But then, what the hell has Arrow done to find him? It has dragged on from episode to episode with them being no closer (or wanting) to find Slade. I mean, previous episode ends with them getting Roy. Then this episode opens and Arrow and Blondie are in bed getting their freak on? Ollie's mom death is on him.

Three more episodes left in the season. So this means the next two episodes we'll get some cool 30 sec fight scenes, soap opera shit, Slade running around town and snitching on Oliver (lol), and Island flashbacks that don't amount to nothing except for padding the time until we get an awesome finale.

BTW, I did love the Suicide Squad episode, minus the Olliver shenanigans.

DC wanted to make him the black Iron Man, which would be movie gold for WB. Anything to do with robots does very well at the global box office. He should be headlining the Titans movie with Robin.

The Cyborg character will make a short appearance in Batman vs Superman. It will be interesting if/when they cast a Flash for the movies who's different from the TV series actor.

It's rumored they may dump Flash from the Justice League film and replace him with Captain Marvel/Shazam.

Hopefully that's not true 'cause that sounds retarded. I always saw CM as a dopey version of Superman. At least the version I remember.

There was a time, in the late 30's, early 40's that Cap was more popular than Supes. But to have him replace Flash in the JL makes no sense. They might as well get rid of Cyborg and bring MM back.

I know my pre crisis history. It's the version I grew up with. As for Cyborg he will always be a Titan to me. I don't know if he grew up and joined the JL since then but I'd much rather prefer MM than Cyborg in the JL.

So do we expect Slade to be cured of the Mirakuru? I would think he would be a good adversary for Arrow just as he was before getting injected.

He's still plenty dangerous without it.

I expect him to be (serious spoiler speculation)

Spoiler:
A good guy once again after they cure him of the Mirakuru. Expect Slade to be back on Ollie's side for at least some of next season

Will Slade and Merlin become enemies once Merlin hears of Queen's death?

Decent ep.

I doubt we'll see Slade cured of the Mirakuru because in the DCU he has some level of invulnerability/healing factor (unless they want to go in another direction in Arrow).

maybe the cure leaves the healing ability but removes the mental issues

There will be a cure made, for sure, definitively for Roy Harper. Whether or not that same cure will be applied or used on Slade, remains to be seen.

Nice stuff, was not expecting Moira's death.

I think if they're keeping Slade around, they have to cure him. I don't know that Ollie can defeat him while he's on the mirakuru. I think Roy gets cured and Slade is either cured or killed. I really hope they don't kill him, though.

Having Merlin and Ollie team up to avenge Moira could be interesting...

No hero or villain permanently dies in comic books. Supporting characters without powers? Sure.

I'm honestly getting sick of Slade. He was a cool bad ass in season 1 but now he just seems like a whiny bitch. "You killed my Shado!" Gaah -rolleyes-

Re: Arrow -- "Seeing Red" -- 4/23/14

The crazy take on Slade does work, though he has been a little too one-note in his craziness. To add an edge to the story, they should retcon that Ollie stole Shado from him. Shado should have been Slade's straying girlfriend.

Then who's gonna be the Starling City Snitch?

BTW, after all Slade has done, you really think Oliver is gonna fight side by side with him? This ain't the comics.
