Aaron Stanford and Noah Bean from Nikita getting lead roles in this. I like them both.

I'll give it a shot. I already see a cross-over episode in the pipeline -- the source of the virus could be the virus in Helix.

Surprised noone posted this yet. I guess this isn't really on anyone's radar yet.

I dunno. I've seen ads for this at the theaters. I'm just not feeling it.

Here's the "Pilot" synopsis:
13 episode season, counting the Pilot
A drama based on Terry Gilliam's 1995 sci-fi adventure begins when a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future arrives in the year 2015 on a mission to save mankind from a deadly plague that will eventually decimate 93.6% of the human race.
27 years after a virus wipes out most of humanity, scientists send a man, James Cole, played by Aaron Stanford (Nikita) back to 2015 to stop the plague from ever happening. Cole's only lead is a virologist, Dr. Cassandra Railly, played by Amanda Schull (Suits) who knows the dangerous source of the outbreak.

I liked it enough to stick with it for the full 13 episodes. I enjoyed Warehouse 13, Eureka and still watch Haven and Continuum so I tend to like these kind of shows that air on Syfy. I absolutely hated Battlestar Galactica though.

If Friday is a dead zone, someone forget to tell the content makers that this is true.

So I did watch it tonight. That was really cool. Solid first episode and sucked me in right away. Reminded me a lot of the movie and I think they added enough of a different spin to keep it fresh and make it a weekly series.
I liked how Cole isn't stuck in 2015 and can jump back to 2043 as well to regroup. Nice to see Kirk Acevedo as well in the 2043 scenes. So Goines daughter I presume is one of the people involved with the army of the 12 monkeys judging by that last scene.
I was skeptical that Aaron Stanford would be a good lead, but he surprised me here. I'm game for the season. I want to see how this progresses. This is the perfect Friday night show.

The first episode was pretty good. Reminded me of the movie. There was plenty to nitpick on though. I just let them go because the story was so good.

If you missed the tag at the end, ep 2 is available for free on demand and online(?) for free today only.
I liked it although 1) I'm not sure I like that he's jumping timelines multiple times an ep. Seems pretty easy and at will, and 2) I'm not sure I get the motivation for going back in time, preventing the plague, then cease to ever have existed.
