At least they gave a reason for how the time line would not be altered, reset. She was there for around two and a half years I believe. I liked it, yet it was wrapped up when it needed to be since there are only a few episodes left.

I think they could have done a whole season in the past. But yeah, with the show nearing the end they couldn't do more than a 2 parter.
