Is it not doing well in the ratings department?

Week 2 dropped a lot.

Visit this site:

Tvbythenumbers.com. They post ratings daily. People tend to freak out about live overnight ratings when other factors are now playing into a show's survival like DVR, international sales, streaming etc.

It's doing god awful. But there's always hope.

I honestly don't understand how the ratings can be so low. It's a fantastic show.

Violence. The gore factor is beyond anything on broadcast TV. If I wasn't such a fan and casually saw this weeks opening I would've flipped the channel instantly.

Naw, honestly it's only slightly below par for a typical NBC show, it's just more "serious" than Grimm

Over at AVClub, they're running interviews with Bryan Fuller about each episode from Season 2 as it airs. Here's the interview for this episode:

I think its a foregone conclusion that this will be the last season on NBC. They clearly have no clue what to do with the show or how to promote it. But its so good its hard to imagine it not being picked up by Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or a cable network.
