Synopsis:

DRUG CRIMES FROM THE FUTURE ARE REAL KILLERS ON AN ALL-NEW "ALMOST HUMAN" MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, ON FOX

When Det. Kennex and Dorian investigate the simultaneous and sudden deaths of two genetically-enhanced - or "chrome" - children, a fatal dose of the perfect designer drug appears to be the cause. As the investigation unfolds and a recent drowning victim is mysteriously connected, the case takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Kennex endures painful flashes from the past and pays a visit to the recollectionist in the all-new "Perception" episode of ALMOST HUMAN airing Monday, Feb. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. I'm beginning to think that this won't be renewed for next season. I hope I'm wrong...

It's chances of coming back improved a lot when FOX cancelled the X Factor. That frees up 3 more hours of programming time per week in the Fall.

That's great news! I hope you're right....this has been my favorite new show of the season!

AFAIK they haven't ordered any new episodes, and it's kind of late for them to do that now. It's too bad too, because the show is just starting to pick up.

This episode was pretty good, I like the way they're starting to show the divisions in society. We also seem to have multiple unresolved plot threads now, but as I stated it's doubtful we'll see them resolved before the series gets pulled.

The comic timing between them is great.


It looked like this episode had some tie-in to the overall arc about Kennex's ex girlfriend.

Kept hating how this episode was out of order. I hate Fox.

Good episode though.

I really hope this show gets picked up. I usually lose interest in procedurals AND network sci fi shows after a few episodes, but ten episodes in I'm still enjoying this one quite a bit.

It's a good show, with potential to be a great show. The wall, the girlfriend, etc. They have good story lines going for more seasons. And with the Fringe experience of the creators, they can avoid some of the pitfalls of these kind of shows.

One of the reasons I keep tuning in. The chemistry between the Two are great.
I hope they can get a second season ... and show them in order.

Was't this only a thirteen episode season like Sleepy Hollow?

Yup only a 13 episode order. Like Sleepy Hollow, The Following and now 24, FOX is trying to order more short season shows.

I am all for 13 episode seasons providing they show all 13 episodes.

Very good episode. This has been one of our favorite new shows...

Fringe got a 3rd, 4th and 5th season despite really bad ratings and moving to Friday. I wouldn't write off this show as dead just yet.

This episode's case of the week had potential, but I felt like they short shafted the chromes stuff. They could have taken it a lot farther, but it ended up being a basic allegory for "rich prep school kids" we've seen a million times.

The focus back on the ex and that story was a bit jarring after last weeks episode set up a new larger story arc.

The big finding is that Minka's character is genetically enhanced. Hopefully that will mean something in future episodes.

That's because this episode was aired out of order. I think it was supposed to be episode 3 or 4. I don't remember which.

It was mentioned a couple episodes ago by the other "regular" in a slightly insulting way.

TV Line still has it as could go either way.

While still good, this episode definitely felt out of order.

I do not understand why Fox continues to do this out of order nonsense. It's ridiculous every single time.
