Marathon TV Show Watching vs Weekly TV Show Watching?

Breaking Bad was the first show I watched from start to finish on BluRay/DVD, and did it in about a month. I regret missing this show in its initial run because I love talking about each episode on Monday with co-workers/friends, and there is a sense of buildup each week as each season finale gets closer and closer. There was a different mindset when had every season on BluRay, as there was no way I was stopping whenever I had freetime to watch an episode as it was so addicting.

So what do you prefer:

-Catch a specific show on its initial run once a week, year by year?

-Wait til the show is over and do a marathon viewing season to season?

I like the slow burn. And being able to talk about it in the internet, check theories, etc.

I also like marathoning, but the slow burn is my preferred method.
