Yeah, long wait.

Good episode. The first half of the season is probably the worst in Parenthood history, but it seems the show is getting better again.

It's always really hard to me, when I see parents telling their kids that they are splitting.

Have the producers ever said what happened to Haddie? The other characters never even talk about her. Its like she has been completely erased out of existence.

Yeah, I wonder about that.

She's probably out of contract, so they don't want to even mention her.

I wonder if they had problems with the actress or something, because the other guy that's in college is still in the show. I mean I know that she went far away but still.

The Kristina storylines are getting crazy. First she runs for Mayor, now she's going to start a school.

privileged white people, when they don't like something they don't deal with it, they run for mayor and start schools. they were bellyaching about affording cornell or wherever they sent haddie, but apparently the diner/recording studio is now making bank and they can finance a school. i hope they buy zeke's house and make it an autistic hippie commune charter school. maybe one of the kids turns out to be an automobile savant, fixes zeke's clunker and they flip for a billion dollars.

then amber comes in and cries about something / smokes a ***, they hire her to scrub toilets, and she calls it her dream job.

Julia divorce storyline is harsh, I know Joel was getting no respect overall, but man he turned on a dime...

Something where every dude who meets her is instantly smitten, that never gets old.

Sad thing is...I actually can see the house being turned into a school.

Yeah, that went from not getting any respect to escalating rather quickly.

Then again, it does seem like Julia's answer to all that situation is to just look sad and not address the issues that caused them to be in that situation.

I agree. Their family can afford pretty much anything including a college tuition, large house, running for mayor, and now opening a school. But Crosby can't afford a hotel for his family during the mold fix? Aren't they supposed to be partners in the music business?

For those interested, Parenthood will have some crossover web only episodes with Friday Night Lights.

Landry Clarke and Derek Riggins will make appearances. And yes, they will appear as those characters.

Web episodes start Thursday.

Here I thought Landry moved to New Mexico with his slightly racist uncle to show off those Texas public school chemistry skills.

What a strange crossover, but I'll be watching it.

The actor who played Derek Riggins also played Crosby's best man.

Looking forward to seeing Landry again Let's hope he isn't complicit in any murders this time around.

Anything that gets FNL characters back on the screen I'm in favor of. I'm assuming these webisodes will play out more like vignettes than full-fledged episodes.

That storyline is making me hate this show. Joel has lost his mind and Julia is suddenly spineless and not defending herself at all. Like, really, you're going to ruin your family because some dude kissed her, who Joel physically assaulted at a school event? Get over yourself Joel. And Julia, quit being a pushover and fight for yourself, as you've done relentlessly every season before this one.

Re: Parenthood -- "You've Got Mold" -- 1/23/14

To be fair, it's a build up that Joel easily took putting his career on hold to raise the kid and then when the tables turned, Julia was being a complete pain in the ass about it. To the point of having an emotional affair.

I can relate to the whole being pissed when you gave the person the chance to be upfront about the situation and then bullshitted and lied. At that point Joel just doesn't trust her. Which can be a real big thing, though I agree that it's escalating really quickly.
