They're going on hiatus again next week? Either the scheduling for this show is erratic, or its flow is just very poor, one of the two. Two reference to HYDRA and Bucky, given that it looks like SHIELD will feature heavily in Winter Soldier, I wonder if there'll be a tie-in?

No, just that she was the only survivor of the massacre.

I liked this one a lot. Expanding the world while referencing what we already know (AIM, HYDRA) is always appreciated. Plus there is plenty of mystery left to keep things going.

And hinting she caused the massacre. I think this show is pretty good. It is inconsistent but clearly improving.

I thought last night's episode started out strong but got pretty dull in the last half hour.


Hopefully next episode's shocking twist reveals that Stan Lee is the Clairvoyant and he'll become Marvel's next "Big Bad."

Yeah. The storm threat sort of just....went away. I assume when they pulled the plug on the machine (creating Blizzard and killing his friend), it somehow stopped the storm but it would have been nice if it was mentioned during the episode.

Didn't the say they did that when she was a baby and couldn't figure out what made her different from a normal human? And I'm assuming she's been checked again in her time with SHIELD.

I'm still watching and am in for the season, mostly because of the interesting mysteries and Skye's hotness.

Feb 4 is not that far away.

Not a bad episode, kind of like what I felt last week; interesting overall story arc and plot lines, just the execution of the individual episodes to reveal them need work.

Never heard of Blizzard before, nice for them to use other characters, however minor.

At this point, I am merely sticking around because it is supposedly set in the Marvel Universe. ABC almost certainly will move the show to a horrible time slot next season, so I don't expect a long life for it.

I liked the episode too and some of the backstory we're learning about Skye.

at May casually saying that she and Ward are having sex to Coulson.

I think the show is getting better too. But you know posters like TGM & a few others who have like 6 kids, they just don't have the patience.

They have to stretch 22 episodes until early to mid May. It causes very erratic scheduling. Sometimes they will do a split season, which usually kills the show in the ratings or have an episode here and there like now until mid-late April when they can air consecutive episodes going into May sweeps.

With Captain America: Winter Soldier opening in April, I have to wonder if they will once again attempt some cross promotion with it and maybe have an indirect toss to it in one of the late March episodes. I have to imagine that Samuel L. Jackson will guest star again.

I read today that Paul Lee expects Agents of Shield to be around for years to come.

Sounds like they have way too much invested in this project to not keep it going.

They need to continue the movie crossovers. It doesn't even have to be the main characters of the movies. Just get some of the secondary characters to show up here and there to make it feel like a connected universe. Sif in the show is a good start.

Cool that Sif is showing up. God I hope the Clairvoyant stuff doesn't disappoint.

If It was truly set in the Marvel universe there would have been a Wolverine guest appearance by now. Not to mention a crossover with another show you never watch.

And every time it comes back from break, it'll be a reboot of the pilot/origin story.
