Synopsis:

WHEN CYBERCOM INVESTIGATES A TERRORIST SUICIDE BOMBING, GABRIEL IS SHOCKED WHEN HE COMES FACE-TO-FACE WITH HIS WIFE, WHEN "INTELLIGENCE" MOVES TO ITS REGULAR MONDAY TIME SLOT, ON MONDAY, JAN. 13

"Red X" - CyberCom investigates a terrorist suicide bombing at a U.S. Marine base and learns a new, chemically undetectable bomb material is being consumed. Meanwhile, Riley is forced to make a drastic decision when she finds Gabriel unable to complete a task, on INTELLIGENCE, Monday, Jan. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Haven't watched this yet but ratings were horrible in its regulare timeslot. Only a 1.1 in the 18-49 demo. Ouch.

Yep, "TV's #1 New Show" is now on the most-likely to get cancelled list.

They shouldn't have had such a bad pilot.

Well, the whole thing with him finding his wife got wrapped up rather quickly...wasn't expecting that. It felt like an episode you'd see towards the end of the season, not the second episode of first season. I don't know, just not feeling it with this show. I'll continue to watch to see where they go with it...If it lasts.

I'm just reading this thread to see if it's worth checking out the second ep, so this comment surprised me. Then again, most shows like this wait at least until the end of the first season before giving the bad guys version 2.0 of the protagonist's super ability/technology and they did it in the pilot.

I couldn't figure it out until this episode, but Riley is 'Red' from Once Upon a Time.

I'm liking the show a lot. I think they wrapped up his 'girlfriend' early so that Gabriel and Riley can eventually have a thing without fans griping about him having a thing with Two Woman.

i was confused by the thing at the end. his wife gave the boy the visitor pass, not the terrorist guy. what was that supposed to signify?

I think that she actually was still a "good guy" and hadn't been turned. She gave him the pass knowing it would lead them to the next target

She gave the pass to the kid hoping Gabriel would check it out but I think she was 'turned' like the flashback insinuated. That she had a hard time 'coming back' from the last mission. She just wanted to see him one last time. She knew she was dead.

I liked this episode a lot more than the Pilot. It flowed better and there was some exciting action. The hand to hand combat scene between Gabriel and the terrorist in the elevator was pretty cool.

Lost reunion in this episode for thos who weren't paying attention. Zuleikha Robinson, who played Gabriel's wife played Ilana on Lost.

I liked the last sequence where Riley tackled Gabriel out the window before the bomb went off. They did say at the end the terrorist who was running this whole operation is still on the run. I'm sure he'll be back by the finale.

Considering the massive ratings drop, I'm guessing CBS will stop the TV's #1 new show promos now. I read the CBS TCA's story from Deadline and while everyone on the show & network is disappointed with the ratings, it sounds like they are going to stick with it.

I watched it, I'm done. I actually like the two leads, but writing is just horrible. The worst was probably the two scenes between the doctor and the boss lady.

I'm out as well. Josh deserved better.

I thought the lead male actor was terrible.

So much disappointment on these boards with TV shows it's a wonder we dont hear of suicides often.

I like the premise but having trouble warming to Josh Holloway. So much of this feels like I've seen it on Chuck without the charisma of the lead character. Of course not having the whining is a plus. Not being a comedy, I liked the action being taken to a higher level. There should be a rule that any hot chick cast in a lead role like Riley has performed at least one nude scene. Damn that girl is girl-next-door gorgeous.

I liked Meghan Ory a lot on Once Upon A Time, but I think she was miscast in this role. However, everything else in this show stinks, so it's not such a big loss. Here's hoping "Red" finds her way back to Storybrooke.

Anyone got a clue about the name of the tune that plays while Gabriel (Josh's char) reviews his wife attacking at the Taj. This is the scene at the end of the RedX episode after Riley saves Gabriel.

Something still tells me that she's not dead.
