Really? I thought it was an off-episode. I've started to figure out the pattern though ... the "one-act" episodes don't do it for me. I need the three (and maybe four) act episodes.

I guess I'm in the minority, but this season and direction is loosing steam for me.

I've enjoyed parts here and there, but a lot this is coming off flat to me lately. I just don't look forward to it each week.

Same here, I was excited for Archer Vice but haven't been particularly impressed with the outcome so far at all.

I'd say it's a bit flat also, still some good funny stuff, but just not flowing so well. I'm hoping this season is a one time deal, and somehow they get back to being a spy agency.

Yeah, they don't have to do too much to resurrect ISIS. That said, I'm still getting laughs out of Archer Vice. This recent episode didn't wow me the first viewing, but I laughed a lot more the second time around.

If people got the snowball reference, the scene with the trucker Pam knew brushing his teeth was pretty funny

From the preview in the first episode. they're going to get caught up in a CIA black op. I could see them being hired as outside agents by the CIA to do dirty work. So they'll be legit and rogue at the same time.

And they're never actually going to sell an ounce of cocaine.

I thought it was better than the last couple.

Too much Kenny Loggins. This show does have a habit of making some oddball reference and then hammering it into the ground.

maybe, although lana not having any idea who kenny loggins is, or where danger zone came from was pretty good.

I liked it. It was the closest to "classic" Archer (I.E., non-Archer Vice) we've seen all season. Pam is replacing Lana on Sterling's missions now. Although I got my biggest laugh from toilet humor.

For some reason Loggins autographing Archer's suit struck me as pretty funny.

Agreed that this was more in line with previous seasons (although I've enjoyed the entire season thus far).
