Finale was a bit of a letdown, but great strong second season.

The first season is interesting, it starts off a little scattershot but it becomes the show it is in the 2nd season near the end. You can see it building up and figuring out what it is as it goes. Not to say the first few episodes aren't funny, they are, they're just structurally messy.

I liked the finale. Having had those nights where everybody seems crazy, rude and the shit keeps rolling, it just worked.

Re: Broad City (Comedy Central) - Series Thread - New show produced by Amy Poehler
So does Broad City post to Hulu episode by episode, or the full season at a later date? Comedy Central shows are all over the place with how they're posted to Hulu.

Okay, I like the first two seasons just fine, but this 3rd season has been on fucking fire and is quite possibly one of the funniest things on television right now!

It seems like they're just getting more and more comfortable with it, which is awesome.

Not looking forward to seeing Hillary's stupid mug this week. She's only on the show because Poehler absolutely loves her.

I don't think it's about politics, as with how they've had on Kelly Rippa and Vanessa Williams, having Clinton on is having just another strong female ("broad") on the show.

incredibly good season so far. The Soulstice Games was amazing. I loved the clip at the end showing her attack the other kid - brilliant!
They are really really on fire in season 3. |

I doubt Hilary asked to be on the show, or even knew what it was. The girls obviously asked her to be on, and she obliged. I don't see what's so political about that.

Re: Broad City (Comedy Central) - Series Thread - New show produced by Amy Poehler
She was on the show because Poehler backs her 100% for President. She likely convinced her that it would be good for her image. As far as I'm concerned she ruined this episode. The DMV and Alan Alda stuff was hilarious. Then fuckin Hillary's astoundingly punchable face shows up. Abi and Illana worshiping and saluting her. Ugh. Do they not know she's AGAINST legalizing weed? The show lost major cool points tonight.

Re: Broad City (Comedy Central) --- Series Thread
this season is great, the Philly episode was a gem, and Tony Danza was perfect as abbie's dad.
