Excited for this show to come back.

Bill left this for Ground Floor. Such a silly move.

I stopped watching last year... Sorry, Bill... How have the ratings been? You think TBS will renew for another year?

OKish for TBS. Not spectacular, but on par with some of their original shows. It was getting better ratings last year compared to Ground Floor this year. I think I recall them saying this would probably be the final season.

It's enough episodes for syndication (which TBS does with the show).

Looking forward to this returning tonight. That said, I wouldn't terribly miss it if this ends up being the final season. Mindless chuckles.

How old is Travis supposed to be? Watched the season where he went away to college and I assumed he was supposed to be 18.

Got a chuckle out of Andy channeling Quint.

Just finished Season 4, and will be starting this season shortly, but I gotta say, there is zero chemistry between Laurie and Travis. Just because they are close to the same age, the show puts them together. Have no idea how it plays out in Season 5 but I just find them so completely opposite of each other.

Me too - way too many "wine jokes" - it just got old.

Considering TBS renewed Ground Floor with lower ratings, I'd be shocked if they didn't get this one a final 12 to make it to 100 episodes.

But maybe the cast is getting a bit expensive?

I still enjoy this show, but it definitely feels 'cheaper' in these TBS seasons somehow. Nothing I can specifically put a finger on, just a feel.

Re: Cougar Town (TBS) -- Season 5 Thread

Finally watched all of season five, and it was definitely a letdown. I don't like Laurie and Travis together, and having them have a baby is just awful. He just seems like such a kid compared to her. And a break dancing challenge? I might be in the minority but I am glad that Tom is a member of the crew now. I really like that they expanded his character and gave him more of a backstory.

It's been renewed for a sixth and final season of 13 episodes.
