Jerry Seinfeld & Larry David working on something 'huge'.

Re: Jerry Seinfeld & Larry David working on something 'huge'.
Jerry Seinfeld’s “secret project” — the one he eluded to during a Reddit AMA earlier this month — is in fact a reunion of “Seinfeld,” the comedian said today.
Appearing on the “Boomer & Carton” radio show on WFAN on Thursday morning, Seinfeld answered a barrage of questions centered around a photo taken on Jan. 13 of Seinfeld with Jason Alexander, walking into the diner that served as a backdrop for many a “Seinfeld” episode.
Seinfeld said the project was not a commercial, or an episode of his hit web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” and while he would not give away much in the way of details, he did say that Alexander was playing his George Costanza character and that other “Seinfeld” characters were involved.
He described the project as “short-ish form,” a “one-and-done” thing involving Larry David in some way that will be made available “very, very soon.”

You have to wonder what a network would pay to have a few more seasons of Seinfeld. It would be huge. I would love to see it.

It's one of two things...it's either something specifically made for the broadcast of the game (or the pre-game), or they're finally announcing the Blu-ray set.
My guess is it's something for the game broadcast - it being in New York and all.

With it first being described as a Broadway musical, and now a reunion (and not a commercial), it makes me think it very likely IS a Superbowl commercial. I hope I'm wrong...

There was just a Super Bowl commercial.
Jerry and George are in the real Tom's eating and talking about a Super Bowl party and as Jerry is about to head to the party Newman walks by and says he had to make a pastry run for the party.
Was funny. So was this the big thing?

Not sure exactly what you expected. It clearly was said by Jerry that it would be short-ish in form which is what we got. Frankly I'm surprised they even did that considering they've been against reunions in the past (not counting the unofficial Curb Your Enthusiasm reunion but not a reunion). I thought it was good in that we got to see three characters together again and gave us a tiny bit of Seinfeld goodness but not so long that it had a lot to live up to by being a full blown reunion.
