Re: 71st annual Golden Globes TV nominations
Happy to see some love for Masters of Sex and Orange is the New Black (which I thought was a comedy, not a drama), sad to see another award show completely ignoring The Americans though.

Now it makes even less sense.

Re: 71st annual Golden Globes TV nominations
it makes total sense. There's only one Supporting Actor category for all TV. The Globes have always done that. It was just mislabeled here; it's been fixed now.

Biggest snubs (to me): Lizzy Caplan in Masters of Sex, and Angela Bassett in American Horror Story. Bassett gets more miles per line of dialogue (she's not in a lot of scenes, that's probably why she's not nominated) than anyone else on that show. Maybe more than anyone else on television right now.
Oh, and Andre Braugher on Brooklyn Nine Nine. Although I guess I'm just happy that that show is getting some love. I know the ratings aren't sky high on it, this recognition alone almost guarantees a second season.

Re: 71st annual Golden Globes TV nominations
After getting snubbed by the Emmys, it is great to see Tatiana Maslany nominated for a Golden Globe for her delightful performance(s) in Orphan Black -- and I'd love to see her win.
How interesting that the most recent Emmy winner for Lead Actress in a Drama, Claire Danes, didn't even get a Golden Globe nomination in that category.

I don't care much for who wins awards nor do I watch awards shows, but if Tatiana Maslany and Bryan Cranston don't win then something just ain't right....

She was so damn good in that show that she could get a nod for best leading and best supporting actress. I hope she wins.
