Yea... I think that was a little nod towards Hamlet with the death of Ophelia and how she drowned.

Didn't they show gemma scrubbing dishes that morning?

Oh, shit, you're right! Sutter truly does cover all bases!

Too bad most watchers of this show aren't likely to be versed in Shakespeare.

I've always thought Christopher Marlowe actually wrote Sutter's scripts.

She apparently left a sink of crystal fucking clear water, just in case of needed drowning. Sutter was too clever by half with the shot that establishes the pristine condition of the water from sink upward to Tara.

ETA: She was also fucking bagging on Tara's housekeeping skills but leaves behind a sink full of water? She also is hiding in the corner in the kitchen doing nothing but staring at said water? Jesus Christ as Jax would say.

I have never in my life seen a kitchen sink filled to the top with water (other than when dishes are actively being washed).

This thread was easily more entertaining than this super predictable episode.

One more hate-watching season left. Can't wait!

Strong agreement. This season was a chore to get through (the extended episodes didn't help).

I wonder how Jax gets out of jail next season? Sure they can't really pin the murders on him but they can get him for gun possession him being a felon and all and him being at a crime scene with 2 bodies doesn't help. I would think they can deny him bail.

Why would he even go to jail? Who says the gun is his? Gun was on the floor and could have been left there, right? Unless I am misremembering and it was actually in his hands when the DA walked in.

His fingerprints are on it? They showed him pulling it out as he entered the kitchen. I don't think he had gloves on I can't remember.

Any forensics will show the bullets didn't come from his gun.

I know but he's still a felon with a firearm and I think they mentioned he's still on probation for some earlier charge.

However, this is Sons of Anarchy, where hundreds of people are murdered in a small town, but everything is still 'business as usual' with regards to the town and club.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some twist at the end where Jax has really been an undercover cop the entire time, the way Sutter's writing is going.

Re: Sons of Anarchy -- 2 Hour Season Finale -- "A Mother's Work" -- 12/10/13

Just caught up watching all of this season in the last week

It was up and down , some good things, some bad things, for the most part i liked the gang dramas and interactions but the rest of the stuff was a bit wishy washy

In Summary, this season was Sutter's attempt to be 'breaking bad' and he just isn't that good

Season 7 can be saved only one way. There is only one major actor from the Shield who has not appeared on Sons of Anarchy and he needs to be bought in as Vic Mackey

Nero was the best thing about Season 6, Jimmy Smits rocks !

FX knew we wanted more, so they will kick off Season 7 with a 115 minute season premiere in September. And since it's the trendy thing to do, we'll also get a 30 minute after show every week. Jesus Christ!

Fuck yes! More Shakespearean biker violence and fucking! I cannot wait for this epic last season, and what a way to start! 115 minutes is not enough, Sutter! Make it 215 and we have a deal!

Hey Eddie, did they ask you to cameo this season? Looks like they were able to get Marilyn Manson.

You misread it. It's 1 hour and 45 minutes.

No, I mistyped. That doesn't make it any less absurd.

Allow me to correct it. It will be 115 105 minutes.

I'm disappointed. Only 90 minutes? Geez that was the avg length of nearly every episode last season. The premiere should be at least 2 hours long.
