Knew that guy who was with brody was a dead man, I half thought brody would kill him, because if he was alive then the whole cover would be blown. Javadi apparently had the same thought.

Very different pace, but it was nice to see everyone together on the same page at the same time. Can't wait to see what next week brings. It's hard to believe this is the same season from the first few episodes.

Loved it. Wish we could have some of those first episodes back to tack on to this storyline. It was cool to see Brody in full military mode.

Is the show renewed?
Does it has a final date? At least for the Brody storyline.
I think the best part of the show is that Saul is the lead now. Almost everyone hates Carrie, they can kill both Carrie and Brody and we still have a great show, maybe even a better show. I know that won't happen because Claire Danes is a producer, but still.

She responded, "Don't worry, he's coming back! We all know that everyone wants Brody and Carrie to get together!"
Sadly, I disagree with her, as I think Brody is now the main reason why I don't love the show anymore, and think it is going in circles with his and her storylines.

I'm happy to see Brody get more involved again but Carrie needs to go. Her character serves no purpose for the story they're building this season.

Frankly I would have been completely fine with the mine they hit actually killing brody. No way he can continue to function in this show without the story being pants on head stupid.

Carrie IS the show whether you like her or not, as there is no way she would ever get killed off. Brody could or should have been killed after Season 1 or 2, but the writers pulled an audible at the line of scrimmage when they looked at the long-term of the show and decided that he is here to stay for now.

I know they won't kill her but her character has been useless this season. All that happened with the mental hospital at the beginning was just setup for Saul's bigger plan. Now she's just a cheerleader for Brody so he doesn't go rogue.

They need her around to occasionally commit the stupidest of knee-jerk blunders and protocol violations, thus jeopardizing national security and assets for no particularly good reason.

All the principal actors Patinkin, Danes and I guess Lewis are signed on for 7 seasons should the show last that long. That's the standard contract for actors signing on to any TV show cable or network.

I'm just surprised that:
1. Patinkin has lasted this long on the show
and
2. They haven't found a way to shoe-horn in a song for him yet

Yeah, I fully expect Patinkin exiting the show before season 4. His excuse will be that he didn't know what the show was before he signed on for it.
