How I Met Your Mother - "Bedtime Stories" - 11/25/13
"Bedtime Stories" - Marshall tries to get Marvin to sleep by reciting three rhyming bedtime tales about his friends as they wind down their epic cross-country journey, on the final season of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, Nov. 25 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. James Van Der Beek returns as Robin's ex-boyfriend, Simon, and Lin-Manuel Miranda guest stars as Gus.

Hopefully we get to see the mother some more. There's only been one good episode so far this season, and surprise... it was the one with barney and the 'mother', the rest of the season has been pretty much garbage.

It was nice to leave Farhampton and get out of the inn
The rhymes were cute yet the stories were thin

Had this one DVRd. When I read the synopsis, I erased. Sounded like it would be torture to get through. Ugh, I hope I can get through to the end. It's been horrible.

It says something when the segments got progressively worse and the first one revolved around Ted. I've actually enjoyed this season, but this was a miss for me.

Barely got through this one, it was more annoying than funny. I basically let it play on the dvr while surfing the web on my phone.

Annoying is definitely the word to describe the episode. 5 minutes in and I REALLY wanted the rhyming to stop.
The idea of the season taking place over the weekend was risky - it could've gone either way. But right now I have to say it MAY have been ok had they executed it differently. The storylines aren't quite working for most episodes. Marshall in transit 11 episodes so far was a horrible idea. One or two episodes - fine... maybe even three... but it's ridiculous now.

I enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed the fact they got out of the inn. The rhyming was fun for the most part. The players council was the one part I didn't care for that much.

This may have been the worst episode in the entire run of the series. I couldn't even get myself to suffer through the entire thing, quit after the players council.

at the responses. This season as been nothing short of dreadful. The only episode worth a damn was Platonish, coincidentally the only one not set at Farhamton. This one follows suit for me. Not at Farhamton =
Loved every minute of it. Very creative. Wasn't the funniest, but it was clever. As for gimmicky episodes go, I'll take the rhyming over a musical any day of the week.
